beliefs, and norms in an effort to hire and retain local employees

– Train sales team Asia-specific methods to assist with dealing with foreign businesses in Asia

– Separate sales team from the rest of the office

• Cultural Training Program– Encourage CDM Media to join the Chamber of

Commerce of Hawaii, AMA, and/or Ad 2 Hawaii and attend social/networking “after hours” events to familiarize itself with other local business people

– Introduce CDM Media to Hawaii’s unique culture and history by attending tours at Iolani Palace & PCC

– Dine-out at local restaurants such as Ryan’s, Sansei, Alan Wong’s, The Pineapple Room, and Sam Choy’s to learn local foods, language, and practice communication styles with a largely local staff

“Art-After-Dark”, and “First Fridays”– Volunteer in the local community through community
