DESIGN
Denroy’s Technical Department works in close partnership with clients to develop products and components for plastics injection moulding.
The company’s design capability includes 3-D CAD packages “Catia” and “Pro-Engineer” and the simulation package “Moldflow Analysis”. All projects are managed using Microsoft Project.
A typical development project includes:
• initial concept generation,• the creation of 3D CAD models,• material selection,• simulation of the moulding process,• prototyping,• detailing,• procurement of injection mould tooling,• tool trials and• full volume production.
TOOLING
The company has extensive in-house tooling facilities which support the design and manufacture of new injection mould tools.
A direct link from the Technical Department to the Tool Room enables the swift and accurate transfer of data. This compresses tooling lead-times and speeds up the process of getting new products to market.
In addition to maintenance and repair work for its own tooling, the company offers a highly competitive repair service to outside companies on a sub-contract basis.
MANUFACTURING Denroy’s comprehensive manufacturing facility uses state of the art injection moulding equipment encompassing the latest software for process set-up and repeatability.
With machines ranging from 5 to 800 tonnes, the company is capable of producing a wide range of parts weighing from a few grams up to 3½ kilograms.
A centralised, vacuum material feed system and the continued investment in robotic handling equipment ensures high quality output through consistent cycling.
Extensive secondary processes are carried out on site giving the customer the complete package from production to despatch to point of use.
Denroy’s continuous improvement initiatives help to minimise waste and reduce manufacturing lead times.
QUALITY Denroy has a culture of continuous improvement and a Quality Management System accredited to AS/EN9100.
A dedicated inspection department offers conventional measuring techniques as well as utilising Co-ordinate Measuring Systems to provide customers with First Article Inspection reports to AS9102 requirements as well as SPC.
The use of an “In Touch” production monitoring system optimises machine utilisation, efficiency and reduces down time and ‘The Cost of Quality’.
Denroy will continue to reinforce
its position as the provider of
choice for injection moulded
components and assemblies to
various industry and consumer
sectors and further strengthen
its reputation and business in its
export markets.
The company will position itself
strategically with personnel,
expertise, equipment,
certification and approvals to
meet the demands of existing
