If you are interested in only one course, then enter only that course. If youare interested in several courses enter these in order of preference up to themaximum of nine preferences.
How should I choose my courses?Although you should choose courses you are interested in, remember thatyou also need to think about your realistic chances of getting into the course.
The Table of courses in the UAC 2011 Guide and course search on UACswebsite show the cut-offs Year 12 applicants would have needed for entryinto each course in semester 1, 2010. Mid-year cut-offs are not published butyou can use the published cut-offs as a guide when making your choices.
Youll also need to check if you are eligible for the courses you are interestedin. For example:Anna doesnt qualify for an offer to the courses she has listed as 1, 2 and 3, and has course 116677 as preference 4. Anna is eligible and morecompetitive than Blair and Catriona, who have both listed course 116677 as their first preference. Anna, therefore, receives an offer ahead of Blairand Catriona.
Does the order in which I enter my preferences matter?Yes. Your preferences are considered in the order you have listed them on yourapplication. If you are not competitive enough for the course listed as your firstpreference, your second preference will be considered and so on until an offercan be made or you have no more preferences.

n enter your preferences in the order you would like to receive an offern enter the course you would most like to do first, then the course you
