Obituary
My Dear Theo,
Even though I wanted our lives to continue together, right now Godhad a different plan for us.
John 16:22 reads, And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will seeyou again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one will take
from you.
Thank you Lord for the ability to grieve for such sadness teaches uswhat true joy really means.
Theo, for thirty years, you have shown great love and joy for me andmy children...and I’m grateful to you.
Thank you for your promise, even though sorrows came our way, Iknow your sun will shine on in a new morning as each season of life
passes into a new day.
I love you very much!
Your Wife,Mary Alice
I’m FreeDon’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has chosen for me.I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that wayI’ve now found peace at the end of day.
If my parting has left a void,Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a lough, a kissOh yes, these things, I too will miss.
Be not burndened with times of sorrowLook for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been dull, I savored muchGood friends, good times, a loved one touch.
Perhaps my time seems all to briefDon’t lengthen your pain with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,God wanted me now - He set me free.
