INSTITUTIONAL ARRANGEMENT FOR SANITATION PROGRAMMES
Two department at FATA level looking after the sanitation program. PHED – looking after large scale projects- Complex projects Rural Development Small community based projects.
MONITORING AND COORDINATION MECHANISM WITH DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS INCLUDING NGOS
AD and PHED Engineers carry out regular monitoring of projects… submit reports on monthly and quarterly basis.
A special wing at FATA Sectt. is involved in regular monitoring, to ensure improvement in the service delivery system.
Tech staff at agency level maintains frequent interaction with local community (Maliks) for their feedback.
Creation of the post of Additional Political Agent for looking after developmental works.
