By: Garry Clarke, Bill Dullea, Jaeyoung Ho, Kelly McNabb, Mary Medino
Existing Reactor
• Recreating a current Titanium Nanotube Reactor
• Add features to the Benchmark
• Design a new LabView
Customer’s Needs
Design Concept
Humidity Control
• Container• Leakage Tests were performed• Psychrometer
Chiller
• Used for water bath
• Maintain set point temperature
• Control the pump speed
Labview• Monitor temperature
– Graph– Indicator
• Kill system for temperature
• Not able to control chiller
Final Set Up
Conclusion
• Humidity 5.1% within final setup• Constant temperature• Ease of loading/unloading• Clear reactor for observations
Future Plans
• Create a larger chamber• Link the chiller remotely• LabView fully controls
the chiller• Add external coupling
for chiller tubing• Clamping system for the
beaker.
Future Plans
• Clamping system for the beaker.
• If budget allows link get a humidity detector and link to labview
• Dry Air flow regulator
