WHY I CAME TO MURDOCH DUBAI
Anastasiya BuraMurdoch Dubai Foundation Program
Whether a student is unable to complete secondary school or has simply chosen to go to university early and wants a strong and clear pathway for academic success, the Murdoch Dubai Foundation Program is the fast route to entrance into a Murdoch University, Dubai undergraduate degree program.
Maria D’ CostaBachelor of Science - School of Information Technology
Niels AlbertBachelor of Media - School of Communication and Culture
Sabiha NuzhatBachelor of Science - School of Information Technology
I chose Murdoch because I was intrigued by the internationally accredited Information Technology courses offered and the opportunity to receive a double degree which can help fuel interest in computers. Our vibrant campus enables greater student-teacher interaction and provides a challenging, stimulating and supportive environment. The university’s faculty and staff who are well beyond knowledgeable, encouraging and affable and the students who are welcoming and amiable, comprise a close knit family unit which I am glad to be a part of.
I chose Murdoch University because I could do my double major which has helped me with my passion in media. Murdoch was one of the very few universities in Dubai that offered bachelors in two years and one of the best Australian universities in the region. Murdoch University’s global reputation was appealing to my parents hence it was an easy choice.
Murdoch has the closeness and friendliness of a small university, but the quality and resources of a larger campus. My experience currently with Murdoch Dubai has been both an enjoyable social and intellectual one. Also, I get an Australian degree without even going to Australia.
When I moved to Dubai from Canada I was very attracted with Murdoch University’s option to accelerate my degree by studying in the summers as well. The location of Murdoch was also appealing to me as it is located inthe centre of the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) which has a diverse culture due to various universities present there.
