As one of their newly developed machines, MENART announces their P-160-DS shredder that, while an

evolution of their previous P-145 range, offer numerous new features :

An increase in power: three engine sizes are offered - 350 HP, 440 HP and 550 HP.

A feed hopper with inclined floor: the feed hopper floor is inclined to provide a better

grip of the material.

A compactor roll with greater clearance: the bottom frame of the entry has been

lowered to better grip the material when the flow of material is less and the upper frame is

raised to allow achieving a greater throughput of material.

Wide rotor : combined with a staggered placement of hammers, everything is set up to

attain impressive throughput and superior quality of work shredding.

Electronic management of input of material: The new electronic control unit

"MENART Active Control" receives continuous information of the engine loading and then

adapts the feeding speed to the rotor in function of that.
