Deepak,
You had an outage in your application caused by the loss of a shared volume provisioned by
File Storage Service (FSS). At this point, you need to restore the data from a snapshot you created of
the FSS. What are the steps to restore the data?
A. Access the directory where the shared volume is mounted, then cd into .snapshot folder, find the
snapshot folder you want to recover and use cp or rsync tool to copy the files to the original location.
B. Open OCI Console, select File Storage Service, find the shared storage, then click on snapshot and
restore.
C. Open OCI Console, select File Storage Service, find the snapshot you created and click restore.
D. Access the directory where you mounted the shared volume, then cd into .snapshot folder and
find the snapshot folder you want to recover and rename that folder to the original folder name.
I don't think D is correct
Right answer is A

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate Arch. Part II 1Z0-932 SL Syed Updated 4 days ago Load Balancing
Deepak
What are the cases the critical warning will be issued for Load Balancer?
For below case, Critical warning will be issued?
"The Backend Server VCN's Security List does not include the IP range for the source of the health check requests"
Please clarify
Deepak — Instructor · 4 days ago Posted 4 days ago Backend Server Health Summary
The Console list of a backend set's backend servers provides health status summaries that indicate the overall health of each backend server. The primary and standby load balancers both provide health check results that contribute to the health status. There are four levels of health status indicators. The meaning of each level is:
OK: The primary and standby load balancer health checks both return a status of OK.
WARNING: One health check returned a status of OK and one did not.
CRITICAL: Neither health check returned a status of OK.
UNKNOWN: One or both health checks returned a status of UNKNOWN or the system was unable to retrieve metrics.
***************************************************************************
A security list is misconfigured.
Health status indicators help you diagnose two cases of misconfigured security lists:
All entity health status indicators report OK, but traffic does not flow (as with misconfigured listeners). If the listener is not at fault, check the security list configuration.
All entity health statuses report as unhealthy. You have checked your health check configuration and your services run properly on your backend servers.
In this case, your security lists might not include the IP range for the source of the health check requests. You can find the health check source IP on the Details page for each backend server. You can also use the API to find the IP in the sourceIpAddress field of the HealthCheckResult object.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate Arch. Part II 1Z0-932Lecture - Create, configure and mount a File Storage Service Prafulla Updated 23 days ago File Storage Service and Mounting
Ones we have created an Oracle File Storage Service , In which all places we can mount it ?
1. single subnet of our choice but is mountable by instances in all ADs within a region.
2. can provide a mount target in multiple subnets local to each AD within a region.
3. provides a mount target within a single subnet and is only accessible to instances in the AD of that subnet
I think point no. 3 is correct, as in video also I saw, it shows during file storage creation that mount option will be available only in that AD as the file storage is created.
Please let me know if my understanding is right or not ?
Also do share some links to read if possible.
Thank you.
Deepak — Instructor · 2 months ago Posted 2 months ago Regions and Availability Domains
You can use the File Storage service in all regions. For a list of supported regions, see Regions and Availability Domains.
When you create a mount target for a file system, you can share it among local bare metal and virtual Compute resources within a region. The service runs locally within each availability domain. When you create a file system or mount target, you specify the availability domain it is created in. Within an availability domain, the File Storage service uses synchronous replication and high availability failover to keep your data safe and available.
