Who were
they?
Army plotters and their civilian allies convinced that Hitler should be assassinated.
Operation Valkyrie was meant to give the plotters control over the government so they could make peace with the Allies and end the war.

Joined the Hitler Youth in 1933
Became influenced by her Father's resistance to the Nazi party and began to become increasingly critical of their views
Published leaflets calling for restoration of democracy and social justice along with brother Hans and other members of the White Rose Movement
Caught handing out leaflets at the University of Munich, arrested and interrogated by the Gestapo
Was executed (beheaded) six days after arrest at the age of 21 (1944)
Also joined Hitler Youth in 1933 with sister Sophie and soon became disillusioned with its ideas

Began his medical studies at the University of Munich
Was caught handing out leaflets with sister Sophie at the University
Later charged with treason and executed on the same day as his sister (beheaded)

18th February 1943 - Arrested and later executed after six months of solitary confinement and interrogations. Graf admitted sole responsibility and yielded no names.
