THE FAMILY SIDE POCKET had lot's of pappa's and Mamma's in last week with the kids — comment or two oxer heard —: "Gee,-1 always thought pool halls wer« dingy little places — but this place is just beauuuutiful." That from a mother of four — oh yeah, the kids were playing too. . . .

Finally got in touch with Juanita Hare — we just had trouble communicating — she's really got a job in re-building (he INSOMNIAC — but this kir*s got a lot on the ball and lot's of heart — she'll make it — especially with the wide variety of entertainment she's offering the public — Juanita has something to suit everybodyseven nights a week — at Hermosa's own INSOMNIAC.•»

Harry Prod and Angce Pappas are getting ready for the second anniversary of the PARASOL . . . T ain't going to let the cat out of the bag now — but if any body misses this party at the 'GATEWAY' — well. I'll just put it this way — "may fire and brimstone rain upon your little pointed heads. . . .

Somebody goofed.— JODY'S ON PACIFIC COAST HWY IN REDONDO BEACH IS RUNNING AN AD, LIKE, a steak dinner is going for one hundred coppers— Lincoln heads mind you — and somebody found out about it — JODY's has been kind of swamped for the last week — if this keeps up — Texas may go out of business. ...

1 tried very hard to get hold of a certain picture of Bobby Troup to run this week — didn't get it — any way, was talking to Mrs. Parrish Monday — you know what —? She's kinda nice her own self — ... Julie Lon- den dropped in Saturday night to catch hubby's act She's as crasy to look at as ever — said she'd be back in a Meek or so — That's at the PARRISH HOUSE TV HAWTHORNE.

The Rouser's opened at the GASLIGHT last week— They just had a smash gig at the El Cortet in Vegas— and now there doing it again here in OUR town — Lot'sa laughs and songs — from the time thev start — till the last second before they take a well earned break.

A reception at La Venta for Lee Boyce — Smith's daughter come this Friday night — wish urn the best.

Al McBride — New office — New party — Cock- tails — ah heck BOOZE for everybody — now It's all gone. . . .

Caught Johnny Prophet's act last week — He's at Little Caesar's on Van Ness — then who do I see on the idiot box sunday — your right — it was the Prophet man himself doing a really great gig for the CITY of HOPE people — good people, huh!
