The following amendments shall be made
to the Full Number and Payment Regulations
of the Guards of both Houses of Peers and
Representatives.
Article 2. Payments for the Guards other than
those provided by this Ordinance shall be
made according to the Government Official
Salary Schedule Ordinance.
Article 4 and Article 5 shall be deleted.
No. 2 of Article 5 shall be made Article 4,
and No. 3 of Article 5 shall be made Arti-
cle 5.
Article 7 to Article 9 inclusive shall be deleted.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Imperial Ordinance shall be
applied to the payment from the month of
Mav. 1946 onwards.

cerning Increase of Notary Public Fee and
hereby cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 280
Ordinance concerning Increase of Notary
Public Fee and others-
Article 1. Exceptions as to fee, daily allow-
ance and travelling expenses provided by
the Notary public Fee Regulations shall be
provided, for the time being, by the provi-
sions of the Present Ordinance.
Article 2. The fee of Article 2 of the Notary
Public Fee Regulations shall be increased
by 400 percent., the fees to be added ac-
cording to Article 14, and the fees of Arti-
cle 15 and 22 by 500 percent, and the fees
of Articles 19 and 20 Paragraph 1, Articles
23 to 25 by 800 percent.
Article 3. The fee of Article 21-2 of the
Notary Public Fee Regulations shall be
50 yen.
Article 4. With reference to the application of
Articles 13, 16, 17, 20 Paragraph 2, Articles
27 and 28 of the Notary Public Fee Re-
gulations, the fees increased by the Pre-
sent Ordinance shall be a standard.
Article 5. In case a fee gives rise to a fraction
less than 10 sen, it shall be rounded off.
Article 6. The daily allowance and travelling
expenses of Article 29 of the Notary Pub-
lic Fee Regulations shall be―but the daily
allowance shall be paid only when an offi-
cial tour farther than 4 kilometres is
made―as follows :
Daily allowance :
18 yen, per day, but
12 yen, in case within 4 hours
Railway and passage fare:
Second class fare, but
the upper fare, in case there are two
classes
required fare, in case there is no
classification
Cartage:

1. The controlled amounts of selling
prices in the above table shall be those oi
" ex. warehouse at the place of production'
or " ex. place corresponding thereto" prices
including packing charge, of kinds which re
ceived the inspection at the prefectural fooc
inspection office (herein after -referred to as
"the inspection"). The controlled amount o1
selling prices of kinds which received the in
spection shall be devided in two : the one shal
be those of sellingprices of kinds which passec
the inspection and were classed as the 1st
2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade, and the other shall b<
those of selling prices of kinds which failedtc
pass the inspection.
The controlled amounts of selling price:
of kinds which were produced in prefecture;
where the inspection is conducted and did no
receive the inspection shall be those of price
in the case of "failed to pass the inspection'
as mentioned in the above table. For the con
trolled amounts of selling prices of kinds
which were produced in Prefectures where the
inspection is not conducted, two yen per 60
kilo grammes net weight shall be deducted
from those of prices in the case of " passed
the inspection" as mentioned in the above
table.
For the controlled amounts of prices, at
which goods are sold in bulk, 60 sen per 60
kilo grammes shall be deducted from those of
selling prices as mentioned in the above table.
2. The controlled amounts of sellingprices
of goods for the use of seeds shall be added
to a sum equivalent to 20 percent of those of
prices in the case of " passed the inspection"
as mentioned in the above table.
3. The controlled amounts of ・'selling
prices of packed goods which are net weight
more or less 60 kilo grammes shall be those of
prices as to be calculated in direct proportion
to the weight of contents, based upon those of
selling prices as mentioned in the above arti-
cles 1 and 2.
4. For the controlled amounts of selling
prices of traders, except producers (including
associations of producers), 40 sen per 60 kilo
grammes net weight and freightage and all-
round expenses needed for the transportation
from the place where goods were bought to
the place where goods are delivered shall be
added respectively to those of selling prices as
mentioned in the above articles 1 to 3(in case
where goods were bought from the govern-
ment at special amounts of prices, to that
special amounts of prices).
5. The controlled amounts of selling prices
of the Local Food Cooperation (including per-
sons designated by the Prefectural governor
with the approval of the Ministry of Agricul-
ture and Forestry) for the use of consumers'
staple food shall be, regardless of the pro-
visions of Article 4, as follows:

prices, at which goods are sold in bulk or with
container.
7. Counting fractions of 5 and over as a
whole number and disregarding the rest shall
apply to the fractions less than 1 sen which
resulted from the final calculation.
8. The amounts of purchasing prices of
the Government, if bills are delivered as pay-
ment, shall be determined by adding a sum
equivalent to the interest thereof from the day
when the goods are delivered to the date when
the bills are to be paid to the controlled
amounts of selling prices as mentioned above
in Articles 1 to 3.
The interest as mentioned in the preceding
paragraph shall be a discount rate which is
determined for the bills concerned by the
government in accordance with the provisions
of Article 4 of the Law relating to Special
Account for Food Control.
