psychology, securing external reviews, recommendation of awards, approving reports, outreach to social
psychology community and the public.
Co-chair of SBE Broadening Participation Working Group (focus is on outreach communication,
internal consistency in implicit bias training for program officers and panelists, updating internal
database on SBP articles, etc.), and T2S (Transformation to Sustainability) group (focus is on securing
international coordination for social-science lead sustainability research; role: represent the U.S. via
NSF, develop call for proposals, outreach, secure reviews, recommendation of awards; award
management).
Strategic Review Committee: Science of Broadening Participation (SBP) – worked with cross-
directorate team to develop NSF-wide questions about the state of SBP at NSF, and recommendations
for enhancing our impact. Co-presenter to Assistant Directors. Leading a subgroup to develop an
annotated bibliography of SBP-funded research.
