CHALLENGES ON SCIENCE FAIR IN INDONESIA 1. The growing number of science fair in Indonesia does not reflects
the higher quality of the events or research proposall
2. Mentoring system by scientists/lecturer as applied in INTEL ISEF have been ecknowledged could increase the quality of research proposal- Prepare Guiidelines for Mentoring- Could be applied widely to teachers at school- ToT for Teachers, Mentor and instructur
3. Increase number of local science fair to stimulate interest
students and teachers from remote areas. 4. Increase category for science project
CHALLENGES ON SCIENCE FAIR IN INDONESIA Five important Issues to be pointed :
1. Government Linkage and Support
2. Role of Media and Private Sectors
3. Integrated Science Activities with Science Fair
4. Post Science Fair Activities
5. Intelectual Property Issues
