K-Fam Board Meeting Recap!
What is the K-Fam Board Meeting?
As a Lieutenant Governor, you have opportunity to
attend board meetings, and the one held in October is
called Kiwanis-Family Board Meeting or K-Fam for short. We met with the college level part of Kiwanis called CKI
or Circle K International and other counterparts of the
Kiwanis Family. We also watched presentations by
different speakers concerning The Eliminate Project and
the March of Dimes. We also had a mini talent show
which was very interesting. We talked with our Regional
Advisors. Topics on the meeting’s agendas were
discussed and presentations were given by Lieutenant
Governors on updates for the committees, and Distract
Staff reports.
Divisional Election
Conference
In January, I will be holding a Division
Election Conference to elect the 2013-
2014 Lieutenant Governor. All clubs
that have submitted their dues prior to
the election are invited to come (so be
sure to get those dues sent in!). Lt.
Governor duties include attending
board meetings, making newsletters
each month, and holding a Fall Training
Conference. The position is an amazing
opportunity to grow as a leader and
help Division 11 grow. The official date
and location will be announced soon.
I hereby decree that
there will be a new
Lieutenant Governor
in the coming months!
All able and worthy
Key Clubbers are
more than welcomed
to run for the position!

KEY CLUB WEEK
Monday- Show your K in Every Way! Sometimes the only way to convince a person of Key Club’s
greatness is to show them what it’s really all about!
Tuesday- Kudos to the Key Players! To thank all those Key Club members, officers, and advisors
that help the club improve and lend support to us and others.
Wednesday- Connect the Ks! Since the Kiwanis family has clubs at the elementary, middle,
high school, and college levels, you should have an event
that helps bring at least one other counterpart that makes up
the Kiwanis Family which includes your local Kiwanis club.
Thursday- Bring a Friend to Key Club! This is a great way to increase membership and to get more
friends to join in on the fun and service that is Key Club!
Friday- Your Way! A day all your own! You can have a social, service event, or
even advertise for the ELIMINATE Project!
