CLEANING ATTACHMENTS WITH BRUSH

• Afterremovingattachment,thoroughlybrushandblowouthairclippingsfromcuttingsystem,attachment,andtopofgroomerhandle.

CLEANING MICROSCREEN® FOIL SHAVER ATTACHMENT

(DoNOTrinseoroilfoilshaverattachmentasitispermanentlylubricated.)

1.Removeattachment.

2.Removefoilheadbypressingthebuttononthefrontofthefoilshaverattachment.

3.Gentlytapthefoilheadtoremoveexcessclippings.(Neveruseabrushonthefoil)

4.Brushhairclippingsfromthecutter.

5.Replacefoilheadontotheshaverattachmentbygentlysnappingintoplace.

BEFORE USING YOUR PERSONAL GROOMER

Charging

•Beforeusingyourpersonalgroomerforthefirsttime,chargefor14to16hours.

•Placeyourpersonalgroomerintothechargingstand(pleaseseesectionAttachingTheChargingAdaptorToTheChargingStandsection)andthenplugthechargingadaptorunitintoa230/240voltdomesticpoweroutlet.ChecktoensurethatthegroomerOn/OffswitchisOFF.ThegreenChargingIndicatorwillglowtoindicatethatitischarging.

•Thebatteriescannotbeovercharged,butwerecommendthatchargingbediscontinuedifthepersonalgroomerwillnotbeusedforanextendedperiodoftime.

•Thepersonalgroomerwillbefullychargedin14to16hours.

•Topreservethelifeofthebatteries,dischargethembyrunningthegroomeruntilthebladesmoveslowly.Switchoffandrechargefor14to16hours.Dothisevery6months.

•Usethegroomeronlywiththechargingadaptorsupplied.

ATTACHING THE CHARGING ADAPTOR TO THE CHARGING STAND

•Turnthestandupsidedownandinsertthechargingplugintotheholetoprotrudeupintothechargingstand.

•Turnthestandthecorrectwayupandinsertthegroomer.

Trimming Beards

•Beforeyoubegin,combyourhairinthedirectionthatitgrowssothatthehairsareattheirmaximumheightandfacinginthesamedirection.

•Placethecorrecthairlengthcombattachmentoneitherthe20mmor30mmtrimmerheadanddeterminehowmuchhairyouwishtotrim.Remember,untilyouarefamiliarwithusingthegroomer,itisbettertoselectalongerhairlengthsettinginordernottotrimtoomuchhair.

•Turnthegroomer’spowerswitchONandbegintrimming.

•Starttrimmingunderyourchin,andfollowingyourjawboneline.Worktowardyourearandupperbeardlineusinganupwardmotion.Allowthehairlengthattachmenttofollowthecontourofyourface.

•Whenfinishedtrimming,turnthepowertoOFF.

To Trim The Edge Of The Moustaches

•Moustachehairsshouldbedry.

•Useasmallcombtocombthehairsstraightfortrimming.Holdthegroomerwitheitherthe20mmor30mmtrimmerbladefacingyou.

•Trimhairsusingadownwardmotionfollowingthedirectionofyourhairgrowthortrimagainstyourhairgrowth,whicheverispreferred.

NOTE: Sinceallhairsdonotgrowinthesamedirection,youmaywanttotrydifferenttrimmingmethods(i.e.upwards,downwardsoracross).Practiceisbestforoptimumresults.

•Afterachievingthedesiredlength,useadownwardmotiontoblendmoustachehairs.

•Whenfinishedtrimming,turnthepowertoOFF.

NOTE:Useslowlightpressure.Toomuchpressuremaytrimoffmorehairthandesired.

To Trim Sideburns

•Combsideburnsfollowingthedirectionofyourhairgrowth.

•Holdthegroomerverticallywitheitherthe20mmor30mmtrimmerbladefacingyou.

•Trimsideburnsusingadownwardmotion.Aftertrimming,lightlygooverthetrimmedareaswiththeMicroScreen®shaverfoilattachmenttoremoveanyshorthairsremainingandtogetasmoothcleanfinish.

•Whenfinishedtrimming,turnthepowertoOFF.

To Define The Beard Line

•Holdthegroomerwiththeeitherthe20mmor30mmtrimmerbladefacingyou.

•Startwiththeedgeofthebeardlineandwiththecuttingbladesrestinglightlyagainstyourskin.Usedownwardmotionstowardstheedgeofthebeardlinetotrimthebeardlinetothedesiredshapeinthefacialareasandaroundtheneck.

To Trim Nose and Ear Hair

To remove hair from the nose:

•Nose&earattachmentshouldbeonthegroomer.

•Turnthegroomeron.

•Insertthegroomer'scuttingunitgentlyintotheopeningofthenostril.

•Rotatethegroomerinacircularmotionaroundtheopeningofthenostril.

•Forbestcuttingefficiency,gentlymovethegroomerinandoutofthenostrilasyourotateit.

•Avoidinsertingthegroomermorethan5–6mmintoyournostriltoensuresafetrimming.

To remove hair from the ear:

•Nose&earattachmentshouldbeonthegroomer.

•Turnthegroomeron.

•Insertthegroomer’scuttingunitgentlyintotheouterearcanalopening.

•Gentlyrotatethegroomerinacircularmotion.

•Totrimhairsprotrudingfromtheoutersurfaceoftheear,guidethegroomeraroundtheedgeoftheear.

•Avoidinsertingthegroomermorethan5–6mmintoyourearcanaltoensuresafetrimming.
