We recently hosted Strike Percussion. This was an amazing musical event. Not only did we get to see and hear some brilliant drumming, students and teachers were invited onto stage to play alongside the visiting musicians. The tempo throughout was frenzied, the audience fully engaged. This was also a great learning experience as the musicians provided explanations about many aspects of percussion.
Currently we are hosting the Real Art Road Show. The truck and ‘gallery’ are in themselves impressive. The art contained therein; work from New Zealand artists; established and emerging is amazing.Travelling with this show are two talented teachers Teresa and Roy who share through lessons the artists and their work. All classes as well as our friends from Waithauna School have enjoyed their hour long visit. Parents and friends of the school also made the most of this special opportunity. We have two students Taylor and Troi this year undertaking NCEA Art. Hopefully one day their art may be on display, touring New Zealand. Kind Regards John Auld

Country Coaching
Senior School
Year 9-13
On Thursday 10th April we were once again lucky enough to have Otago Secondary Schools Sports Association supply specialist coaches in certain codes for a training session. This is a huge opportunity for our senior school to get access to these coaches. It is great preparation for the up coming SouthernArea Schools Tournament.
