KING’S RESIDENCES MOVE OUT CHECKLIST

THREE WEEKS BEFORE MOVE OUT WEEK OF MOVE OUT DAY OF MOVE OUT

Buy packing items including boxes, tape, bubble wrap etc.

Decide what items you want to keep and separate them from any you would like to donate.

Discuss with your flatmates the tidying of communal areas including the removal of waste and any donation ofcommunal items.

Commence packing.

Finish packing. Please ensure you remove all personal items and waste from your room and kitchen.

Redirect your mail. Any mail which arrives after you've left will be returned to sender. Redirecting is easy and cheap. Go to www.royalmail.com for more information.

Remove any pictures, stickers and blue tac from the walls.

Commence cleaning of room and kitchen. Vacuums are available in all residences and trash bags can be collected from reception.

Remove all personal items and waste from room and kitchen.

Turn off your heater, lights and taps.

Shut all the windows and lock the door.

If required, return your room key to reception.
