Exposure to Radio Frequency (RF)
EnergyYour mobile device contains a transmitter andreceiver. When it is ON, it receives and transmits RFenergy. When you communicate using your mobiledevice, the system handling your call controls thepower level at which your mobile device transmits.
Your Motorola mobile device is designed to complywith local regulatory requirements in your countryconcerning exposure of human beings to RF energy.
Operational Precautions
For optimal mobile device performance and to besure that human exposure to RF energy does notexceed the guidelines set forth in the relevantstandards, always follow these instructions andprecautions.
External Antenna Care
If your mobile device has an external antenna, useonly a Motorola-supplied or approved replacement
antenna. Use of antennas, modifications orattachments could damage the mobile device and/or may result in your device not complying withlocal regulatory requirements in your country.
DO NOT hold the external antenna when the mobiledevice is IN USE. Holding the external antennaaffects call quality and may cause the mobile deviceto operate at a higher power level than needed.
Product OperationWhen placing or receiving a phone call, hold yourmobile device just like you would a landline phone.

RF Energy Interference/
CompatibilityNearly every electronic device is subject to RF
energy interference from external sources ifinadequately shielded, designed or otherwiseconfigured for RF energy compatibility. In somecircumstances your mobile device may causeinterference with other devices.
Follow Instructions to Avoid Interference
Problems
Turn off your mobile device in any location whereposted notices instruct you to do so.
In an aircraft, turn off your mobile device whenever
instructed to do so by airline staff. If your mobiledevice offers an airplane mode or similar feature,consult airline staff about using it in-flight.
Implantable Medical DevicesIf you have an implantable medical device, such as apacemaker or defibrillator, consult your doctorbefore using this mobile device.
Persons with implantable medical devices shouldobserve the following precautions:
ALWAYS keep the mobile device more than20 centimetres (8 inches) from theimplantable medical device when the mobiledevice is turned ON.
DO NOT carry the mobile device in thebreast pocket.
Use the ear opposite the implantablemedical device to minimise the potential forinterference.

Seizures/BlackoutsSome people may be susceptible to epilepticseizures or blackouts when exposed to flashinglights, such as when playing video games. Thesemay occur even if a person has never had aprevious seizure or blackout.
If you have experienced seizures or blackouts or ifyou have a family history of such occurrences,please consult with your doctor before playing videogames or enabling a flashing-lights feature (ifavailable) on your mobile device.
Discontinue use and consult a doctor if any of thefollowing symptoms occur: convulsion, eye ormuscle twitching, loss of awareness, involuntarymovements or disorientation. It is always a goodidea to hold the screen away from your eyes, leavethe lights on in the room, take a 15-minute breakevery hour and stop use if you are very tired.

callers number or name rather than ringing. Also,
your phone can read names to you when you scroll
through your Phonebook, and can speak digits to you as
you enter them to make a call. To turn these features

connections. You can connect your phone with a
Bluetooth headset or car kit to make handsfree calls.
You can also connect your phone with a phone or
computer that supports Bluetooth connections to
exchange files.
You can also use BluetoothA2DP stereo
headphones to listen to music files you store on
your phone.
Note: The use of wireless phones while driving may
cause distraction. Discontinue a call if you are
unable to concentrate on driving. Additionally, the
use of wireless devices and their accessories may

sounds, or other media objects. You can addmultiple pages to a message, and you can put text
and media objects on each page. You can send a
