Who attended?

• 94 frontline workers, managers, advisers and leaders –

paid and volunteer

• Mainly from Fenland but also wider Cambridgeshire,

Peterborough and West Norfolk

• Very wide range of agencies including housing, advice,

family support, local authorities, community

development, mental health and young people

What did they get out of it?

• 76% money and benefit knowledge increased

• 69% knew more about where to signpost people to

• 69% new knowledge to share with their colleagues

• 60% made new contacts useful to their work

• 40% more confident to talk about money with people

• Life under the benefit cap – 31 satisfactory and above, 20 excellent (100%)

• Improving financial confidence – 17 satisfactory and above, 7 Excellent (100%)

• Overcoming barriers to employment – 18 satisfactory and above, 6 excellent (100%)

• Understanding claimant commitment – 21 satisfactory and above, 3 excellent (87.5%)
