Students will be marked tardy after the
morning announcements.
– If the announcements are on, proceed directly to the classroom.
– All other late arrivals MUST report to the Front Office.

SnackWe have time for snack daily. Your child can bring in a healthy snack to eat at the end of the day if you’d like. Please send in a snack, this is not a second
meal! Snack should take no longer than 3-5 minutes to eat.
Class DojoOur positive behavior system is class dojo.
It’s a great way to see exactly how your child is behaving in class. Please be sure to check this daily to monitor your child's

Family Message Journal• Comes home every Friday• Will tell you about your child’s day• Graded on handwriting and writing conventions• Students copy message from SmartBoard then fill in blanks
pertaining to them specifically –Example: I did _______ in math. My goal is to ________ by ______. I will reach this goal by _________.
• Students will eventually be writing the entire message themselves with content words on the SmartBoard to help them
–Example: Math: addition, subtraction, digit, sum, difference
Science: inventor, invention, reflect, experiment
• Any word written on the board should be spelled correctly
