TE Dual Purpose
TC/CR Motocross/GP
Street-legal versatility doesn’t necessarily mean sacrificing off-road performance! For the enthusiast who wants a street-legal dirt bike, the TE is ideal. It is a true enduro machine urbanized just enough to wear a license plate. New for 2012, the TE250 features a low seat height,
which appeals to a wider range of riders. The 250 and 310 receive the Kayaba shock (formerly Sachs), and chassis upgrades to all four TE models include a more rigid chromoloy frame and stiffer suspension settings on the Kayaba 48mm open-cartridge fork.
Get your blood pumping with Husqvarna’s cutting-edge fuel-injected TC motocrossers. The GP-racer-style four-strokes (and CR125 two-stroke) are built for aggressive track performance and bred for competition. A new cylinder head on the TC250, along with a lighter piston, new Keihin fuel-injection system and all-new Akropovic exhaust, promises harder-hitting power. Revised ignition mapping and improved airflow significantly boost the power output on the 449, which also runs cooler with a new WP radiator. All-over chassis improvements, including a more rigid frame and stiffer suspension settings – complement the motor upgrades on both the TC250 and TC449.

TXC Cross-Country
WR Two-Stroke Cross-Country
The TXC line of cross-country motorcycles are Husqvarna’s purebred off-roaders. Based on the TE platform, the TXCs are infused with high-performance tuning of the TC motocrossers. Less restrictive exhaust and revised ignition mapping make them more aggressive, giving the TXCs a competitive edge in the off-road world.
The TXC310 is an all-new model for 2012, and features electric start, fuel-injection and a six-speed gearbox like the rest of the TXC range. Upgrades on all three models include a more rigid chromoly frame and stiffer suspension settings. The 250 goes from Sachs to a Kayaba shock, making TXC suspension components 100% Kayaba.
The exceptional reliability, outstanding performance and light weight of a two-stroke remain tough to beat, which is why they are still the bike of choice for many off-roaders. The two-stroke WR cross-country bikes return for 2012, sporting the same proven technology and premium components, along with shared changes across the Husqvarna line.

2012 Model Range
TE250 Dual Purpose
Exclusive to the U.S. market, the 2012 TE250 will feature a low seat
height, nearly two inches shorter than last year’s model. Lowered
suspension on both the front and rear give it greater appeal to riders of
smaller stature, or to those simply seeking the comfort of being in closer
reach of the ground. As with the rest of the TE line, the 250 is still an aggressive
off-road bike, designed for 90% dirt and 10% street.
The 2012 TE250’s shock is upgraded to Kayaba. The linkage-mounted
monoshock is shorter than its predecessor - yet stiffer - and fully adjustable.
The Kayaba fork is also shorter and stiffer than last year’s to complement the
new shock. Further improving the overall structural rigidity is the new all-black
chromoly frame with higher overall rigidity and reinforcement to the steering
tube. As a result, the TE250 is more capable and well-balanced than ever.
The fuel-injected Husqvarna TE250 single-cylinder, DOHC, titanium four-
valve engine returns for 2012. The compact, lightweight 249.5cc power-plant
harmonizes with an all-new Leo Vince-designed exhaust system, which flows
freer than last year’s and improves performance across the board. The new
pipe and silencer also manage to be quieter and 300 grams lighter while also
meeting stringent emissions standards.
The updated cooling system features a thermostat and electric fan, which
help keep temperatures down and reliability up. New handlebar clamps are
adjustable and offer two different positions. Silver anodized Excel rims are new
for 2012, and the TE’s sharp new look is finished with redesigned IPD (in-mold
plastic decoration) graphics - integrated into the bodywork so they stay looking
new.
Trimmed with choice aftermarket components such as the Brembo hydraulic
clutch, Brembo hydraulic brakes and Braking wave rotors, the TE250 is a
super-refined package with a world championship-winning pedigree.

TE310 Dual Purpose
The TE310 is the weapon of choice for World Enduro Champion Antoine
Meo. Although the E2 class allows bikes of up to 450cc, the French off-
road racer prefers the ideal balance of power and maneuverability of the
mid-sized endure machine. Derived straight from the TE250 platform, the
310 is bored and stroked to 302cc, producing robust torque while also retaining
the light weight and agility of a quarter-liter bike. The Leo Vince-designed
exhaust system is all-new and freer-flowing, improving performance from idle to
overrev while also being lighter and quieter than the unit it replaces.
Suspension settings are all-new on the TE310. Like the 250, it receives the
Kayaba shock for 2012, but unlike the 250, the 310 is not a “low” model.
Settings are stiffer on the shock for more aggressive riding and a better overall
balance. The Kayaba fork is also stiffer, which improves handling capabilities
and complements the chassis changes.
The compact chromoly frame is refined for 2012 with reinforcement to the
steering head. Like all 2012 Husqvarnas, the frame is now black in color and
complemented by redesigned IPD graphics in a bold red/black color scheme.
The distinct look of the 2012 Husqvarnas is finished with silver Excel rims.
The cooling system is also upgraded on the TE310, incorporating a thermostat
and electric fan to prevent overheating. New handlebar clamps are adjustable
and offer two different positions, completing the list of upgrades made to the
latest generation TE310.

TE449 Dual Purpose
Husqvarna’s flagship dual-purpose off-roader returns for 2012, with
minor refinements aimed at fine-tuning this street-legal off-roader.
Chassis upgrades, including a revised frame and slightly shortened
shock, give a more well-balanced ride, while improvements such as the
new one-piece tail section improve aesthetics.
The new Kayaba shock on the TE449 is 4mm shorter and re-valved to
work with the CTS (Coaxial Traction System), allowing the chassis to retain
its venerable straight-line stability while also improving turning ability. The
reworked chromoly frame takes direction from Husqvarna R&D and factory
race teams, becoming more rigid with reinforcement in the steering tube and
stronger seat rails. Engine mounts of the frame also have improved rigidity,
and on the whole, the latest-generation frame is designed to concentrate more
weight on the bike’s center of gravity.
The single-cylinder, titanium four-valve, DOHC motor produces smooth,
refined torque, fine-tuned to optimize traction throughout the power delivery of
the 449.6cc motor. The exhaust pipe receives a new heat shield, and engine
cooling efficiency is improved with new WP radiators. In combination with
the thermostat and electric fan, the TE449 creates healthy, consistent power
throughout the ride, even when the going gets hot.
Like all Husqvarna TE motorcycles, brake and clutch hydraulics are entrusted
to Brembo. Premium wave rotors are supplied by Braking and Excel rims are
silver for 2012. New IPD integrated graphics carry a bold new black and red
color scheme, and stay looking new through repeated pressure washing.

TE511 Dual Purpose
Husqvarna’s big-bore TE511 is the largest displacement of the
dual-purpose enduro bikes. The 477.5cc motor is based on the 449
powerplant, bored out an extra 3mm for bigger torque that comes on
smooth and in no short supply. The TE511 is 50-state street legal, like all
bikes in the TE line, and returns for 2012 with minor modifications aimed at
making it more approachable.
A new all-black chromoly frame is reinforced near the steering tube for
improved rigidity, and also reinforced at the seat rails and engine mounts.
The new Kayaba shock is 4mm shorter, allowing the rear end to ride lower,
and mounts to an upside-down linkage housed above the swingarm. The new
frame and upgraded shock synchronize with Husqvarna’s patented (Coaxial
Traction System) CTS in order to concentrate more weight on the bike’s center
of gravity. The Kayaba fork is also re-valved to be stiffer, yet with a more supple
feel on the initial stroke, allowing the 511 to handle like never before.
Like the 449, the TE511 receives a sleek new one-piece tail section, which
houses a streamlined wiring harness, simplified and more reliable than ever.
Cooling efficiency is also improved with new WP radiators, which creates
healthier, more consistent power throughout the ride, and a new heat shield is
added to the header pipe of the exhaust.
Like all Husqvarna TE motorcycles, brake and clutch hydraulics are entrusted
to Brembo. Premium wave rotors are supplied by Braking, and silver Excel rims
and a Magura aluminum handlebar come stock. New IPD integrated graphics
carry a bold new black and red color scheme, and stay looking new through
repeated pressure washing.

TXC250 Cross-Country
Husqvarna’s TXC line of off-road racers are made for the trail, but bred for
competition with plenty of influence from their TC motocross counterparts. For
2012, Husqvarna focused on gaining maximum performance from the TXC250,
giving more focus to the on-track aptitude of the off-road hybrid. New ignition
timing, heavily revised fuel injection and an all-new Leo Vince exhaust system
equate to a substantial difference in the power output, while a stiffer frame
and upgraded Kayaba suspension components further advance the “moto-
proficiency” of the TXC250.
The Kayaba shock is all-new on the TXC250, replacing the previous Sachs
unit. (TXC suspension components are now 100% Kayaba). Front suspension
is upgraded with stiffer springs and new valving on the 48mm closed-cartridge
fork. The latest-generation chromoly frame further refines the chassis through
the addition of new plates near the steering head, and reinforcement in
key areas. These structural improvements not only improve the handling
capabilities of the TXC250, but also improve the long-term durability of
the frame.
Power is made more potent with the free-flowing Leo Vince exhaust system
(same as TE250 unit without the catalytic converter insert), which also weighs
300 grams lighter than the system it replaces. The 12-port fuel injector and
revised ignition map not only improve power, but also provide better throttle
response for crisp, polished motor performance.
The shared changes to the Husqvarna off-road model range (black frame, silver
Excel rims and new IPD graphics) complete the look of the latest TXC250.

2012 Model Range
TXC310 Cross-Country
An all-new model for 2012, the 310 displacement comes to the TXC line of
race-inspired off-road motorcycles. A bored and stroked version of the 250, the
302cc fuel-injected four-stroke is a creature all its own capable of providing the
best of both worlds – able to run with the 450s and maneuver with the agility of
a 250. Float like a quarter-liter and sting like a big-bore!
The TXC310 shares the revised all-black chromoly frame with the TXC250,
and its high tensile strength and strategic reinforcement allow the chassis to be
more responsive along with improving long-term durability. Like the rest of the
TXC line, the TXC310 features premium Kayaba suspension tuned specifically
for the high demands of U.S. off-road competition. The 48mm closed-cartridge
fork tubes up front and link-mounted Kayaba single shock in the rear provide
a smooth ride on the trail but are just as capable of rolling right onto the
motocross track. Husqvarna’s TXC motorcycles are formulated for off-road
competition, and therefore carry a solid streak of “moto-DNA” in their character.
In the motor department, the 302cc, DOHC, four-stroke powerplant features
four titanium valves, electronic fuel-injection with a Mikuni 45mm throttle body
and a six-speed transmission operated by a Brembo hydraulic clutch. Free-
flowing Leo Vince exhaust system (same as TE sans catalytic converter insert)
and aggressive ignition mapping allow the 310 to keep up with the pace of
its 450 counterparts, but won’t wear out the rider nearly as fast with
its light handling capabilities. A thermostat and electric fan ensure the
engine performance will remain cool and consistent, even under serious
off-road abuse.

TXC511 Cross-Country
The TXC511 remains the open-class off-road specialist. The California green-
sticker-legal four-stroke features a fuel-injected 477.5cc motor, revised and
fine-tuned for 2012 to smooth out power delivery. Chassis alterations are
minor, but make significant improvements in the overall performance of the big-
bore TXC.
The most notable change made to the TXC511 is to the dual-flap ignition
system. Revised to be more responsive and user-friendly, the 2012 becomes
an overall better-running motorcycle with improved low-end power. New
radiators also improve the quality of the TXC511. WP units are stronger and
more effective in their cooling capabilities, and the built-in thermostat cues the
electric fan when temperatures climb.
The 48mm closed-cartridge Kayaba fork is upgraded to stiffer settings to
improve the overall balance of the TXC511. The Kayaba shock body remains
unchanged, but the use of the new progressive spring creates more initial sag
and allows the rear end to ride slightly lower. Altering the geometry helps refine
the overall balance, and noticeably improves the handling characteristics of
the TXC511. Husqvarna’s patented CTS (Coaxial Traction System) works in
ideal harmony with the refined suspension components, continuing to provide
incredible climbing ability and unparalleled straight-line stability.
The rear end of the 511 is also improved in the aesthetic department with
an all-new one-piece tail section. The streamlined design improves rider
ergonomics by being narrower, and 15mm lower than before. The bodywork
houses a simpler wiring harness, which is more direct and also utilizes higher-
quality components.

WR125 Cross-Country
Rediscover the ultimate in agility, lowest in price and easiest in maintenance
with Husqvarna’s mighty eighth-liter two-stroke off-roader. The WR125 returns
to the Husky cross-country lineup, and receives the same shared updates
given to the WR line in 2011, including a reworked frame taken straight from the
motocross-inspired CR model and all-new exhaust.
New for the 2012 model year, the WR125 comes with a 144cc bore kit complete
with cylinder and piston for those looking for that valuable 19cc advantage. The
125cc two-stroke’s frame is now black in color, and the sharp new look of the
2012 is further accented by new IPD graphics and silver anodized Excel rims.
The WR125 also receives the new fully-adjustable Kayaba 48mm fork. On the
rear, the 125 retains its tried and true Sachs shock and progressive linkage
system, which keep the WR a sharp-handling off-road weapon, mild enough
for young off-road enthusiasts, yet potent enough to get aggressive on the
trail in the right hands. Additional protection to the lower portion of the airbox
completes the list of changes made to the 2012 WR125.
The fuel system is managed by a Mikuni 38mm TMX carburetor and premium
V-Force reed valves. The Ducati Energy ignition and Magura aluminum
handlebar add to the list of top-shelf components that come on Husqvarna’s
WRs. The compact single-cylinder two-stroke engine and the new exhaust
system (introduced in 2011) remain in place for 2012, and continues to deliver
impressive power from the mighty eighth-liter screamer.

WR250 Cross-Country
Inspired by Husqvarna’s World Enduro Championship factory race team, the
fine-tuning made to last year’s WR line of two-stroke off-roaders (reworked
frames and new exhaust) remain a winning combination. The outstanding
performance, exceptional reliability and affordability return for 2012, along with
the shared changes of the Husqvarna off-road motorcycles: all-black frame,
redesigned IPD graphics and silver anodized Excel rims.
Years of race testing have helped Husqvarna engineers convert the aggressive
nature of a two-stroke motor into effective power. Premium parts specifically
tested by the CH Racing team such as the V-Force reed valves, Mikuni
38mm TMX carburetor and Ducati Energy ignition help produce tractable,
potent power from the WR250. Striking a great balance between explosive
performance and tractability, the WR250 is much appreciated in extreme
enduro conditions, where its lightweight muscle and reliability continue to shine
like only a two-stroke can.
Solid rear brake rotor prevents mud from inhibiting stopping power, and a
Magura aluminum handlebar add to the list of top-shelf components that come
on Husqvarna’s WRs. Aside from the shared changes to the Husqvarna range
of motorcycles, the WR250 receives no additional changes.

WR300 Cross-Country
Husqvarna’s WR300 is the open-class race weapon of choice for Seb
Guillaume and Andreas Lettenbichler. The World Enduro Championship riders
choose to go head-to-head with the 500cc four-stroke machines of the E3
division on his WR300 because it is the ultimate power-to-weight ratio; smooth,
linear and fast-revving power pours on smooth while handling remains nimble
and accurate.
The outstanding performance of the 2011 WR300, which pairs the light weight
of a two-stroke with ground-gripping proficiency of a four-stroke, return for
2012, along with the shared changes of the Husqvarna off-road motorcycles:
all-black frame, redesigned IPD graphics and silver anodized Excel rims.
Premium parts specifically tested by the CH Racing team such as the V-Force
reed valves, Mikuni 38mm TMX carburetor and Ducati Energy ignition come
stock on the WR300. Closely based on the WR250, the 300 houses a larger-
bore cylinder (72mm) giving it a total displacement of 293.1cc. The largest
capacity of Husqvarna’s two-stroke range, the WR300 is a light, manageable
yet potent – and let’s not forget economical – choice for open-class off-road
racers.
Solid rear brake rotor prevents mud from inhibiting stopping power, and a
Magura aluminum handlebar add to the list of top-shelf components that come
on Husqvarna’s WRs. Aside from the shared changes to the Husqvarna range
of motorcycles, the WR300 receives no additional changes.

CR125 Motocross/GP
Rediscover the ultimate in agility, lowest in price and easiest in maintenance
with Husqvarna’s mighty eighth-liter two-stroke motocrosser! Competition
comes first on Husqvarna’s CR125, which carries its existing race-tested
technology and top-level components into 2012.
The compact 124.8cc single-cylinder, two-stroke motor continues to sing at
high tunes with a Mikuni TMX38 carburetor fed by V-Force reed valves, and
like all of Husqvarna’s two-strokes, the CR125 features a Ducati Energy digital
ignition. The six-speed gearbox is operated by a Brembo hydraulic clutch.
Brake hydraulics are also Brembo while rotors are supplied by Braking.
New for the 2012 model year, the CR125 comes with a 144cc kit complete
with cylinder and piston for those looking for that valuable 19cc advantage.
The CR125 receives the same updated frame as the WR125. The all-black
chromoly frame features higher rigidity for better performance and longer life.
The CR continues to carry the premium Kayaba 48mm closed-cartridge fork
and proven Sachs single-shock which provide a plush ride.
Along with the other shared changes across the Husqvarna line of motorcycles
– silver anodized Excel rims and new black/red IPD (in-mold plastic design)
graphics – bodywork on the CR125 features new airbox protection for the
2012 model.

TC250 Motocross/GP
In the world of motocross, competition has never been tougher – both for
racers and equipment – but Husqvarna has never been one to shy away from
a challenge, and today’s cutthroat 250 motocross class is no exception. The
TC250 receives another overhaul for 2012, bringing it another step closer
to track supremacy. Bigger power, better handling and a dose of F1 race
technology ensure that the TC250 will be a force to be reckoned with in 2012,
while also remaining a fun, rideable track bike.
The BMW-owned manufacturer has pulled out all the stops in the major revision
of the motor. Calling on its rich racing background, the new piston and cylinder
head are based on BMW Formula 1 technology. The new piston is lighter and
freer-revving, and operates inside a cylinder head whose design originated
in F1 development. Updated valve finger followers are also F1-type, and
now DLC- (diamond-like carbon) coated for a long lifespan and silky-smooth
operation.
The TC250’s battery-less fuel injection system now operates with a Keihin
(formerly Mikuni) ECU and throttle body. The ignition is upgraded to CDI; the
coil actually produces less voltage than the unit it replaces, but is far more
efficient through capacity-style induction. A new airbox and revised velocity
stack feed the upgraded motor, and altogether produce a substantial power
increase on the TC250, particularly in high-range and overrev.
The re-vamped motor is accompanied by an upgraded chassis. The TC250
shares the new all-black chromoly frame with the TXC, featuring increased
tensile strength with structural reinforcement and the addition of plates near the
steering head.
Suspension receives an overhaul as well; the Kayaba 48mm closed-cartridge
fork and link-mounted Kayaba shock are developed for (and by) U.S.
motocross riders.

TC449 Motocross/GP
After receiving a serious shot in the arm in the power department, the 2012
TC449 is ready to flex some muscle on the track! Husqvarna’s premier class
motocrosser gets a substantial overhaul in the motor and chassis departments
aimed at taking it to the next level of competition.
Starting with the powerplant, the 449.6cc, fuel-injected four-stroke receives new
valve timing, and DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating on the connecting rod for
less friction and longer life. The ignition features new settings and a dual-map
configuration, with the possibility to change the map while the engine is on by
way of a switch on the handlebar. The new airbox is larger, carrying with it a
revised velocity stack aimed at increasing mid-range power. High-performance
WP radiators keep things running cool. These revisions alone create a
surprising power increase across the RPM-range on the 2012 TC449.
The chassis also receives its share of upgrades, creating a better overall
balance while also effectively managing the TC449’s big power, ensuring the
useable torque grips the ground with the utmost efficiency. The new all-black
chromoly frame is updated with structural reinforcement in key areas, making it
stronger and more rigid. The Kayaba 48mm closed-cartridge fork and Kayaba
shock body are re-tuned for the specific demands of U.S. motocross. The
shock also receives a progressive spring, which is softer on the initial stroke
and allows the rear to settle in, helping to iron out the overall front-to-rear
balance of the TC449 for optimum handling.
Like its TE and TXC counterparts, the TC449 upgrades to the single-piece
tail section that is narrower and streamlined for better ergonomics. The wiring
harness is also lighter and simplified, utilizing higher-quality materials.
