Weather or Not?

Directions:

1. Select a major city in a large country.

2. Send a text message to GOOGLE (466453)

to find the weather of the selected city.

4. Find the current weather in your town using Google SMS.

5. Complete the Venn Diagram comparing the weather of the two cities.

Activity Sheet 50 - Camera

The shape of it all

Directions: Use the graphic organizer to list things around your school that are

examples of triangles (right, acute and obtuse), spheres, trapezoids, pentagons, heptagons and octagons. Use

a cell phone camera to take photos of the shapes. MMS the photos to www.Photobucket.com and create a

photostory that includes labels and text. On the final slide, compare and contrast two geometric shapes.
