Launched in 2010; Action Plan was developed in order to ensure that TVET is offered according to the needs of the country's labor market.
Action Plan aims to increase the employability of the labor force through enhanced cooperation and coordination between government ministries, government institutions, organizations, and agencies and private sector institutions.

National Occupational Standart for Job and Career Counsellor Vocational Qualifications Authority
• Turkish Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA) was founded with Law No. 5544 and dated 21 September 2006 with the objective of establishing and operating the National Qualifications System of Turkey in line with EU.
• One of the main duty of VQA is to develop National Occupational Standards (NOS) and National Qualifications.
• NOS is a document agreed by the business and education world and providing input to vocational education.
