Financial Planning and Awards
• www.adm.utoronto.ca click on financial aid options
• Estimate your expenses ▫ Living expenses: rent, utilities, groceries, telephone/internet,
transportation, childcare, etc.
▫ Educational expenses: tuition, books, supplies, etc.
• Financial resources ▫ Consider all sources of funding such as family support, education plans,
savings, summer and study period income (work study), etc.
▫ If insufficient, consider financial aid options such as OSAP or Meltz
Academic Bridging graduates will automatically be considered for Academic Bridging awards based on their final grade ▫ you can increase your changes if you have documented financial need and fit any
of the listed award criteria
▫ students will be notified in August so you will not be able to confirm awards for budgeting purposed
Financial Aid (Student Loans and/or Grants)
OSAP for students with course load 60% or greater in both terms (and students registered with Accessibility Services with at least 40% course load)
Meltz bursaries or PT OSAP for students with course load less than 60% in both terms
• Very important that students apply as early as possible and complete the correct application(s) based on their anticipated course load
but if your course load is not evenly distributed, you will need to determine percentage in each term
Some students (taking 2.5 FCE) may be FT one term and PT one term and will need to fill out two different applications!
