1. Connect to both your source and destination SharePoint environment using the “Connect to Site” option in the ribbon.
2. Enter the requested information, including
Project Name, Site Address and if prompted, a
valid SharePoint
account to this
location.

3. Once the connection is complete, your site will be added to the Navigator. From here, you can view all the lists contained within this site or any sub-site below it.

4. Select the site(s), list(s) or item(s) that you wish to migrate from the source site in Navigator, right click and choose Copy. You can also use Ctrl+C or drag and drop to initiate the migration.
5. Locate your destination location in Navigator, right click and choose Paste.

6. Copy Wizard will appear after the Paste option is selected. On the first page of the wizard, choose the type of site copy you would like to perform and then click Next.
7. The next page of the wizard will include the specific options that are available in Migrator’s Copy Site migrations. Expand each group of options and check or uncheck the options you would like to enable during the site migration. Click Next to advance to the final page.8. The final page of this wizard is a Summary screen. It will display the source and destination locations as well as a list of options that were checked (Yes) or unchecked (No) in the previous step. Click the Finish button to execute the migration immediately or use the Generate Script button to perform the migration later using CMD or PowerShell.

9. As the migration begins a progress bar will appear. This dialog window will track the operations being performed by the tool as they happen. There is also a “Run in background” button available to push the progress bar to the background of the tool so you may continue to use it for other migrations or operations.10. When each migration completes, a popup will appear to inform you that it has finished. The window will display the migration results (successful or completed with warnings) and contain a button to “View Log” or OK to close.11. Click on the View Log button to display the log associated to this specific migration. The Log Viewer contains information about the migration and several options to Save, Load, View History and Statistics, and Reprocess Failed Items. Click Close to exit the Log Viewer and return to Migrator.
