Objective: To encourage students to compete in events that test their skills and knowledge in
various areas of computer engineering. This event aims for students,across colleges from Pune to
develop a competitive spirit as well as apply their knowledge.
1. To develop the ability to express ideas through Competition
2. To motivate the student to work in teams to achieve a common goal.
3. To get lifelong learning experience .
4. The ability to understand professional ethics and responsibilities.
Outcomes: Participants from various colleges participated and expressed there talent. They got
lifelong learning experience. Students worked an individual and in team to show the creativity.
The student coordinators understand professional ethics and responsibilities.

Description: An intra-college technical and gaming event/competition organized by ACE (The
Association of Computer Engineers) of the Computer Department. Eight different events run in
parallel over the course of a two days. Each event is managed by 2 coordinators, 4 or more
volunteers as well as two teacher/staff coordinators.

The event commenced with inauguration by the hands of the Principal Dr. A.A.Keste ,Vice
Principle Dr.V.N.Raibhole , Head of Department Dr. Mrs. N.F. Shaikh in the presence of the staff
and the student coordinators. This was followed by rounds of events running simultaneously in
different class. The Eleven events for the Couple of the day were: CODE FIESTA was a
memory problem solving skills event. CODE FURY was a technical competition for code
improves imagination power of student in direction of logical thinking. The FAST AND
GENIUS was a technical event that aimed at exploring a participant’s problem solving skills
with fun and challenging activities based on aptitude, general knowledge, riddles, etc.FINISH
WHAT YOU START is an event which is used to test the logical and coding skills of the
participants.CATCH THE FLAG was a treasure hunt event in which the participants had to
navigate through the terminal to find hints and flags leading to the next level. BEATS was a
music and audio round that fasinated the crowd. BOX OFFICE included audio & video and the
final round was the buzzer round.The main idea was based on movies. FIFA is a popular football
stimulation video game. The plan was to conduct multiple rounds and decide winner based on
the person scoring more goals.PUBG is the most popular esport game in community. The plan
was to conduct multiple rounds and decide winner based on last man standing.MAY-MAYERS
event was a fasinating one .The main theme was giving a caption to a picture in the funniest
way possible which tests their skills to adding some humour to a colourful picture.BULL'S EYE
is a game that tests your concentration and aiming skills.
All events saw great participation with the total number of registrations 126 coming from
publicity prior to the event as well as on-the-spot registrations. All participating students were
awarded certificates and winners, with memento and cash prize.

Mission of Computer Engineering Department:
To Develop Industry Oriented Manpower to accept the challenges of Globalization,
by imparting Computing knowledge through trained faculty in a conducive environment,
by creating awareness about the needs of software-hardware industries through alumni
and Industry-Institute interaction,
by encouraging them to think nominatively and introducing them to various research
activities,
by grooming them in communication and interpersonal skills.

I. The program will produce graduates who are trained in providing solutions to business
needs.

III. The program will give graduates an understanding of software and hardware systems and
their applications.

PSO1: Professional Skills: The ability to perceive, analyze and develop computer programs
in the areas related to algorithms, networking, data mining and machine learning ,
software engineering, big data analytics, and cloud computing for efficient design of
computer-based systems of varying complexity to cope up with today's industry
requirements.
PSO2: Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to inculcate standard practices and strategies
in software project development using open-ended programming environments to deliver
a quality product for business success.
PSO3: Successful Career and Entrepreneurship: The ability to employ modern computer
languages, environments, and platforms in creating innovative career paths to be an
entrepreneur, and avidity for higher studies.
