Getting started
Installation
• Make an account and public profile @ https://www.mendeley.com• Online maintenance of library, sharing, collaboration etc.
• Download the installation file • https://www.mendeley.com/download-mendeley-desktop/
• Installing word plugin• Close MS Word
• Mendeley Desktop go to Tools > Install <Your text processor> Plugin.
• On text processor, go to View > Toolbars and select the Mendeley toolbar.
• You should then be able to see the buttons 'Insert Citation', 'Insert Bibliography', etc.

Works well for most documents, older documents converted to PDF from other formats (scans, images) often fails to capture the required citation information. As a result manual correction/ update of data is required.
