    In this Master Class, participants will discuss with professor de Cesari key texts on the theory of 'transnational memory', including the introduction to the new collection Transnational Memory (eds. de Cesari/Rigney, 2014).

    Two young researchers will have the opportunity to present and discuss their Master theses or PhD projects.

    Chiara de Cesari is a cultural anthropologist and Assistant Professor in European Studies and Cultural Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Her research focuses on heritage, memory and broader cultural politics and the ways in which these change under conditions of globalization.

    In this Master Class, participants will discuss with professor Craps chapters from his new book Postcolonial Witnessing: Trauma Out of Bounds (2013).

    Two young researchers will have the opportunity to present and discuss their Master theses or PhD projects.

    Stef Craps is Research Professor of English Literatures at Ghent University, Belgium, where he directs the Centre for Literature and Trauma (LITRA).
