Professionals in any field should belong to the professional society representing that field, it is part of being a
professional. For physics education professionals, that society is the American Association of Physics Teachers.
You can be a full member of AAPT for less than $0.25 per day (pre-
college teachers) or $0.45 per day (college and university faculty).
Full members receive Physics Today in paper and online, The Physics
Teacher or American Journal of Physics in paper and both online, and
other benefits of membership such as member discounts, access to
member only benefits, and the knowledge that they are supporting
physics education and physics educators.
