aliyah (immigrated) to Israel based on a vision he had in
1989. In this vision he saw tents full of provision for the
returning Jewish exiles. Acting in faith Eitan moved his
family to Israel and birthed a Messianic ministry called
Tents of Mercy. From a leap of faith and humble beginnings,
Tents of Mercy has now planted 5 Messianic Congregations
in northern Israel. Eitan is the senior congregational leader
of their home base in Kiryat Yam on the Haifa Bay. One of
Tents of Mercy’s main thrust is providing humanitarian aid

enabled them to distribute food, clothing, household items,
toys and baby supplies to hurting families. Tents of Mercy is

Church, which he founded together with his wife Marilyn in
1983 in the heart of Uganda’s war torn capital, Kampala.

24,000 congregation members. Gary passionately believes it
is the responsibility of the local church to solve community
problems. As a result, they founded Watoto Child Care
Ministries, an international organisation as a compassionate
response to the cry of Africa’s millions of children orphaned

become future leaders of Uganda and Africa. In addition to
championing the cause of the orphaned child, Watoto is
committed to restoring dignity to HIV+ women, left to bear
the brunt of AIDS, war and social injustice. Almost 3,000
women have experienced an improved quality of life
through Watoto’s Living Hope. Their children, more than
