We Are the Church (opening song)
[Refrain:] I am the church! You are the church! We are the church together! All who follow Jesus, all around the world! Yes, we're the church together!
1 The church is not a building, the church is not a steeple, the church is not a resting place, the church is a people. (Refrain)
2 We're many kinds of people, with many kinds of faces, all colors and all ages, too, from all times and places. (Refrain)
3 Sometimes the church is marching, sometimes it's bravely burning, sometimes it's riding, sometimes hiding, always it's learning. (Refrain)
4 And when the people gather, there's singing and there's praying, there's laughing and there's crying sometimes, all of it saying: (Refrain)

Song They’ll Know We Are Christians By Our Love
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord; We are one int he Spirit, we are one in the Lord; And we pray that all unity will one day be restored.
Chorus: And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love, yes, they'll know we are Christians by our love.
We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand; We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand; And together we'll spread the news that God is in our land.
We Will work with each other, we will work side by side; We will work with each other, we will work side by side; And we'll guard each man's dignity and save each man's pride.
All praise to the Father, from whom all things come; And all praise to Christ Jesus, His only Son. And all praise to the Spirit who makes us one.
John 10:1-10
Hymn: Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us
1. Savior, like a shepherd lead us, much we need thy tender care; in thy pleasant pastures feed us, for our use thy folds prepare. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast bought us, thine we are. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast bought us, thine we are.
2. We are thine, thou dost befriend us, be the guardian of our way; keep thy flock, from sin defend us, seek us when we go astray. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Hear, O hear us when we pray. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Hear, O hear us when we pray.
3. Thou hast promised to receive us, poor and sinful though we be; thou hast mercy to relieve us, grace to cleanse and power to free. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! We will early turn to thee. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! We will early turn to thee.
4. Early let us seek thy favor, early let us do thy will; blessed Lord and only Savior, with thy love our bosoms fill. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast loved us, love us still. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast loved us, love us still.
Reflection
Invitation to Prayer Prayer Song Shepherd Me, O God
Refrain: Shepherd me, O God, beyond my wants, beyond my fears, from death into life.
1 God is my shepherd, so nothing shall I want, I rest in the meadows of faithfulness and love, I walk by the quiet waters of peace. [Refrain]
2 Gently you raise me and heal my weary soul, you lead me by pathways of righteousness and truth, my spirit shall sing the music of your name. [Refrain]
3 Though I should wander the valley of death, I fear no evil, for you are at my side, your rod and your staff, my comfort and my hope. [Refrain]
4 You have set me a banquet of love in the face of hatred, crowning me with love beyond my power to hold. [Refrain]
5 Surely your kindness and mercy follow me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of my God forevermore. [Refrain]
Prayers of the People / Pastoral Prayer The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
Communion (Please bring your own bread/juice or similar)
Hymn: I Come with Joy
1 I come with joy to meet my Lord, forgiven, loved and free, in awe and wonder to recall his life laid down for me, his life laid down for me.
2 I come with Christians far and near to find, as all are fed, the new community of love in Christ's communion bread, in Christ's communion bread.
4 And thus with joy we meet our Lord. His presence, always near, is in such friendship better known; we see and praise him here, we see and praise him here.
Blessing
Response
5 Together met, together bound, we'll go our different ways, and as his people in the world, we'll live and speak his praise, we'll live and speak his praise.
