Master of Science Program in Veterinary Pharmacology
Degree offered : M.Sc.
This graduate program is designed to prepare veterinarians for research, teaching and practice in veterinary
pharmacology and other related areas. Academic staffs in the program are specialised in endocrine pharmac
ology, immunopharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, herbal pharmacology and toxicology. Several de
partmental staffs also serve on an interdepartmental program in Pharmacology.

Key research areas :
Toxicity of insecticides in animals; mycotoxin; antimicrobial residue in tissue and meat products;
endocrine-pharmacology, antiinflammatory, cardiovascular and wound healing effects, mechanisms of
action and toxicities of Thai herbal medicinal plants.
Facilities :
Isolated organ bath, spectrophotometer, p-microtiter plate reader, equipments for studying pancreatic i
nsulin and glucagon secretion, centrifuge, thin-layer chromatography, high performance liquid chromat
ography, SDS PAGE, 2D-PAGE, etc.
