Marshal Zhukov'sPenultimate PushIMPERIAL STOUT WITH COFFEE ANDVANILLA

BEER DESCRIPTIONThis Russian Imperial Stout is dedicated to GeorgyZhukov, arguably one of the finest generals ofWorld War II. Specifically, it is dedicated to the push by Zhukov's 1st Belorussian Front of the RedArmy through the German-occupied territory ofEast Prussia in early 1945, setting the stage for theRed Army's final maneuver into Berlin to end thewar. Fresh roasted coffee beans along with vanillaand cacao nibs have been added to this juggernautof an imperial stout, the only style of beer boldand strong enough to share its name with TheMarshal himself.

TASTING NOTESAromas of fresh-ground espresso beans, vanillaand alcohol spiciness dominate the nose in thisimposing Imperial Stout. The palate finds strongflavors of fudge, coffee, penuche, and raisinpudding balanced by moderate carbonation andassertive German hop flavor and bitterness, whilethe sweetness of vanilla and cacao rounds out thebeer's long finish.
