The formwork system possesses specialdetails that guarantee simple separationof the SAS-MF formwork from the con-crete element. The formwork is designedsuch that it can also be cleaned automa-tically. The SAS-MF base element with theproven Ratec automatic system is manu-factured the same for all elements to beproduced – but in different lengths. The

base element serves as a receptacle formounting modules for both transverse andlongitudinal juts. Using simple rapid con-nectors, these add-on modules can befitted with different formwork shell typessuch as wood, smooth steel, profile steelwith tongue and groove, steel or woodwith shear key, or steel or wire ropes inthe grouted joint.

Simple positioning of the formwork on thesteel table is supported by the integratedhigh performance magnets. Easy activa-tion and deactivation of the magnetsenables efficient operation, in particular inthe case of different types of formworkshell. The Ratec company has developed an innovativeformwork system on the basis of magnets. Thesystem, which bears the name Ratec Standard Automatic Modular Flex, in short SAS-MF, offers

maximum flexibility in formwork construction by means of simple steel attachments and woodenmodules.

The proven PSV system complements theSAS-MF system ideally. The PSV systemhas been used successfully for many yearsin the precast concrete part industryworldwide. The PSV telescopic adaptorsystem covers all areas of formwork con-struction such as transverse and longitu-dinal juts, as well as window and door re-cesses. Thanks to the modular PSV system,casing and stripping by hand is easy. Aformwork height of 100 to 400 mm isthereby attained. In combination with C-profiles, the PSV system can be put to usein arbitrary lengths from 550 mm. ThePSV system enormously simplifies shutter-ing without a crane. The combination ofsteel basic formwork (SAS-MF, PSV) andwooden shell allows considerableamounts of formwork timber to be saved.Since the formwork panels are screwedfrom behind, filling of the visible surface isno longer necessary.
