Finder  &  Interface  The  basic  user  interface  element  of  the  Mac  OS,  including  the  file  system  and  desktop.    

System  Preferences  The  control  panel  used  to  manage  the  majority  of  the  seLngs  within  the  Mac  OS  including:  

• Display  • Used  to  manage  the  internal  display  seLngs  such  as  resoluQon  as  well  as  for  seLng  up  and  managing  external  displays  such  as  a  projector.  

• Network  • Used  to  manage  all  the  seLngs  for  all  network  interfaces  including  the  PSU  WiFi  VPN.    

• Exposé  • Used  to  easily  manage  mulQple  applicaQons  and  windows  running  simultaneously.  

Mail  &  Address  Book  Apple’s  built  in  applicaQon  for  managing  mail  and  contacts.  Tutorials  include:  

• SeLng  up  PSU  IMAP  mail.  • Check  mail  without  going  to  webmail.  

• SeLng  up  GMail.  • Check  mail  without  going  to  GMail.
