The setting my partner and I picked was Tijuana/Border.
This is a very important place in this story because this is where Salvador got a job.
This is also where they slept for a while till they had enough money.
They gave Bartolo their most important possessions.
Character Analysis(Lupita)
Lupita is a hard worker because when Salvador decided to move in with Lucky(Lucio) she stayed with Consuelo and kept working in the fields.
She is very emotional, When salvador left, she broke down and cried.
Lupita is a follower because she did everything Salvador said on the way to Indio.
CHARACTER ANALYSIS(SALVADOR)
Salvador is a very greedy person because when he brought money for Lupita to send to moma back in Mexico.
Salvador is a leader because he led Lupita and himself to Indio.
Salvador is mean because he always pushes Lupita around like a rag doll.
Conflict
External Conflict: The external conflict of the story is “La migra” or the emigration police. Salvador and Lupita are constantly running from them.

Internal Conflict: The internal conflict of the story is how Lupita is dealing with the change of her brother. He is becoming a very greedy and materialistic person.
Climax
The climax of the story is when Salvador got caught by “La migra” and deported back to Mexico.
Resolution
• The resolution of the story is when Salvador is deported because lack of the english language so Lupita wants to learn english which Irela taught her.
Theme
The theme of the story is how you need to have family because when Lupita and Salvador went to Indio they had each other and their Aunt Consuelo.
