ROLL CALL The Lima City Board of Education met in a regular session on January 23, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the South Science Technology Magnet School, located at 755 St. Johns Avenue Lima, Ohio with Mr. Dennis Williams, President presiding and with the following members answering roll call: Mr. Dennis Williams, President Mr. Michael Ley, Vice President Mrs. Alicia Anderson Mr. Randall Lee Hunter Ms. Catherine Kouns Born

The recommendation to approve the agenda was made in a motion made by Mrs. Anderson and seconded by Ms. Kouns Born.

EXECUTIVE SESSION It is recommended that the Lima City School Board of Education enter into Executive Session to discuss possible employment of personnel.

APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES "Are there any corrections or objections to the minutes of the regular meeting? If not, we will waive the reading of the minutes. May I have a motion for approval?"
The recommendation to waive the reading of the minutes from the regular meeting held December 12, 2013 and the organizational meeting held January 9, 2014 was made in a motion made by Mrs. Anderson and seconded by Mr. Hunter.

RECOMMENDATION TO ACCEPT THE AMOUNTS
AND RATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET COMMISSION It is recommended that the Lima City Board of Education accept the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. The recommendation to Accept The Amounts And Rates As Determined By The Budget Commission was made in a motion made by Mrs. Anderson and seconded by Mr. Ley.
