India captain Virat Kohli is just37 runs away from addinganother world record to hisillustrious cap. Kohli, whoalready became the fastest to11,000 ODI runs in this WorldCup, will bid to become thefastest (by some distance) toscore 20,000 international runs. When India take on West Indiesin their next ICC World Cup 2019match at Old Trafford,Manchester on Thursday, alleyes therefore, will be on Kohli. If Kohli, who has 19,963international runs, gets theremaining 37 runs against WestIndies on Thursday then he willbe the 12th batsman to thislandmark and the 3rd Indianafter Sachin Tendulkar (34,357runs) and Rahul Dravid (24,208runs).

Virat Kohli 37 runs away fromhuge World Record

Kohli, who has 11087 runs inODIs, 6613 in Tests and 2263 inT20Is, will become the fastestto the landmark overtakingSachin Tendulkar and BrianLara. Both Tendulkar and Larahad taken 453 innings tocomplete 20,000 internationalruns.Kohli, on other hand, hasplayed only 416 innings so far– 131 in Tests, 223 in ODIs and62 in T20Is. The third on thelist is former Australia WorldCup winning captain RickyPonting, who had taken 468innings to get to the feat.Kohli has been in stellar formin this World Cup. Althoughthe three-figure mark eludedhim in the tournament so farbut he has smashed a hat-trickof half-centuries – 82 againstAustralia, 77 against Pakistanand 67 against Afghanistan –to play crucial roles in India’s

victories in all three of thosematches. His task, however, won’t beeasy against the West Indies.Jason Holder’s men boast oneof the strongest pace attacksin the tournament. The likes ofSheldon Cottrell, Kemar Roachand the captain Holder himselfhave given a hard time to someof the best batting line-ups inthe business.Kohli would also be wary of thefact that the Indian batting line-up failed to live up to theexpectations in their last gameagainst Afghanistan. TheIndian innings derailed afterKohli was out playing a looseshot for 67. The Indian captaintherefore, would not like arepeat of the same and will lookto get a big hundred againstWest Indies to take India one-step closer to the semi-finalspot.

Bhuvi or Shami? Sachin Tendulkargives surprising but clear answer

India captain Virat Kohli.Despite Shami’s four-wickethaul which included a match-winning hat-trick – only thesecond by an Indian bowler inWorld Cups – in the last over,Sachin put his weight firmlybehind Bhuvneshwar Kumarfor the West Indies encounter. “I would go for Bhuvi if he isfit, purely because of his abilityto swing the ball. He cantrouble the West Indies top-order with his swing,” SachinTendulkar told the officialbroadcasters when asked tobe the selector for India’s nextmatch against West Indies.Bhuvneshwar, who wasinitially ruled out for a coupleof matches after suffering ahamstring injury in the India-Pakistan match , was seenbowling in the indoor nets atManchester on Tuesday. The Board of Control forCricket in India (BCCI)

Inthe statement, KCP-MC paysrespect to those who waged arelentless struggle to build thisKiyong. Whether the designof the structure, the number off loors, the co lor of thestructure, etc ref lects thepractices of sanamahi lainingor not is question worthponder ing. There is stillconfusion over the wordkiyong amongst people. KCPMC finds merit in both thesides who are debating overthe word. An expert shouldsettle the confusion on thematter.
