Non-Income Assessed 14-15?
• Generally, no need to re-apply for funding
• Application automatically rolled over and assessed
• Will receive a Notification of Entitlement letter
• Can be viewed by loging into your Student Finance Online https://www.gov.uk/browse/education/student-finance
- Check 15/16 application has been approved- Make any amendments if necessary
Applying for Government Support
Income Assessed
• Apply on-line https://www.gov.uk/student-finance as a continuing student. Deadline date for applications end of June 2015.
• Tick the box where you will spend most of the year – e.g. Study Abroad
• Receive Notification of Entitlement letter Home Address/Online (View Correspondence)
• Print, sign and return the Student Declaration to SLC
Applying for Government Support(Cont…..)
• Student Registry will:- re-register you automatically- inform Student Finance of early start date
• Student Loan/Grant usually paid in three instalments (Aug, Jan and April). If your academic year is split into two semesters the Registry will automatically request for your funding to be paid in two instalments (Aug & Jan). The first instalment will be a 1/3rd and the second instalment will be 2/3rds
• Re-apply for Student Funding from January 2016 (on-line)

• Access Scholarship £1,000 (2013 & 2014 entry) – based on A-levels or equivalent grades on entry – continue to receive if academic progression met and a household income less than £42,600 and £42,620 respectively
