Modern design by ZagatoThe new Komatsu three- and fourwheeler,with a 48 Volt battery and twin motor frontwheel drive is a high performance, versatile though compact truck.The Zagato design office, with its long experience in car design, managed to combine aesthetics, comfort, productivity and safety.Everything works together in harmonyand the operator has all the instrumentsat his fingertips.Twin motor front wheel driveTwo new robust, powerful separateexcitation (SEM) motors delivering 4.0 kW (1 hour rating) have excellent torque curve with brakes integrated into the front axle, ensuring maximum drivepower and acceleration. They carry afactory warranty of 5,000 working hours or 24 months. ChassisThe highly rigid chassis has targetted alow center of gravity ensuring max. stability in all driving and stacking manoeuvres with high residual capacitiesat max. heights. The battery cover is made from steel plate.MastThe newly developed masts have narrow nested I beam mast sections, with side-integrated lift cylinders, in-line rear mounted liftchains and slimline fork-�carriage to maximise the forward visibilityand lifting capacities.
A full range of duplex (FV and FFV) and triplex (TFV) high view masts with lift heights up to 6,970 mm are available. HydraulicsLow noise pump for steering, lifting, tilting and auxiliary functions. Sensitive operation through hydraulic control withMosfet technology. Lowering brake valve limits the lowering speed of the load, even in case of pipe breaking. Pressure limiting valve protects against excess pressure and overload.WheelsSuperelastic tyres are standard. Non-marking superelastic-, pneumatic- or solid tyres are available as options.BrakesConsist of 3 independent brake systems: · Regenerative braking on accelerator release or on reverse travel direction.· Hydraulic operated brake pedal.· Parking brake with drive inhibitor and operation warning light.Service· Motors guaranteed for 5000 hours or for 2 years, incl. brushes.�· Brush wear fault code is shown on display whenever it occurs.· Excess temperature of motot and/orelectronic controller is indicated via faultcode.
