A Peek At the Week…Sight Words: there, use, an, each,

which Letters: short a letter patterns- (ex.

at, ag) Math: Numbers and Counting 0-20 Science Unit: Too Good For Drugs Language: Beginning, middle and

end of a story

Homework• Practice letters, sounds and sight

words nightly.

• Read and record it on your reading log. This should be done nightly, if possible. Students earn stickers for every 5 books and rewards for every 25 books read at home.

• Math Sheet

• Have your child read these

words: hat, bag, ram, tap

Treat BagsWe do not have Halloween parties

during the school day however, students will receive treat bags on

Halloween. If you would like to donate items for our class’ treat

bags please send it to school with your child by October 29th. We

currently have 20 students. Some ideas may include pencils, candy, erasers, trinkets, notepads, small individually wrapped snacks, etc.

Tuesday: “Team Up Against Drugs” Wear a sports team shirt and uniform bottoms.

Wednesday: “Happy, Happy, Happy, Healthy, Healthy, Healthy” Wear Duck Dynasty or camouflage clothing.

Thursday: “Be a Hero, Not a Zero!” Wear a Superhero shirt with uniform bottoms.

Friday: “I’m a Jean-ius! Drug Free!” Wear jeans with a red shirt or a Marlow school spirit day shirt.
