Well done to all students for the way they have
been adapting to all the changes to regular
school life at the moment.
In addition to the restrictions of assemblies and
allowed sporting activities, there has been a
significant amount of wet weather, causing
further disruption to the regular opportunities
for students to burn off energy and spend time
with their peers.
This week we have been reflecting on our PBL
message of
Stay Calm: Be Smart, Be Strong, Walk Away
This is very timely reminder for us all to take a
step back and not react in the moment. The
bigger picture shows how far we have come
and how much has been achieved lately as
both a school and community.
The Wellbeing Team have been supporting a
large number of students and we would like to
thank parents who have reached out and
contacted the school so we can work together
to get the best outcomes for all of our students.
It is often said that you can’t see the whole picture while you are still inside the frame. We all look forward to being fully outside the frame in the near future and being able to look back
on this big picture.
Until then, we will be standing strong together as a school community to support each other.

Parenting Corner This week: Collaborative parenting style wins the day during COVID-19
Sick Students
Unfortunately, we have had a number of
students present at school with colds and/or a stomach bug since the return to school on a full-time basis.
The Parents and Carers Guide for Students Returning to School Full Time for Face-to-Face Learning states that “If your child is unwell, do not send them to school. If they are unwell at
school, you or your nominated emergency contact will need to collect them immediately.”
While we understand that this can be an
inconvenience, this is to keep all other students and staff members safe and healthy. Thank you for your assistance.
We make a difference, every child matters every day.

P&C Association
We are pleased to announce that the P&C have recently contributed extra funding to each classroom budget. This will provide teachers with some additional funds which can be used to benefit the students in their class. We hope that this contribution makes a difference to all classes and we look forward to hearing what has been purchased. This extra funding is only possible because of the support we receive from the school and community during our fundraising events.
IGA Rewards Program From every product you buy displaying the Community Chest symbol, a percentage is donated to the School P & C. Please support your local IGA Store.

Canteen Corner
We were very excited to have our new servery counter installed last week by GJ Morgan Kitchens. Today we are having our new pantry installed. Thankyou to the school and the P&C for supporting the refurbishment. The refurbishment will make the canteen a more functional, bright and fresh space for staff, volunteers and students to visit.
We strongly encourage you to order your child’s lunch online at
www.myschoolconnect.com.au.
Ordering online allows us to better prepare for the orders we are receiving as well as freeing up more time for canteen staff to prepare food. We are now proud to offer Sugar Freezie iceblocks. Sugar Freezies are sugar free, preservative free and made in Australia. They are available to purchase for 80 cents and will be added to the online menu over the weekend.
