A little bit of history.....Scientists found our earliest ancestor’s bones in Lake Turkana Basin, North Kenya.

During the 1600’s – 1700’s many Kenyans were taken away as slaves.

The British colonised Kenya from 1930 – 1963.

Kenya Today Still not recovered.....•IDP = Internally displaced people •650,000 Kenyans were moved from their homes and taken into camps.•The majority of IDP’s may never return home.

•Kenya has a population of 39 million•Kenya is the 4th worst country for the HIV/AIDS epidemic•Earlier this year flash flooding hit Kenya. Turning a further 10,000 people into IDP’s. This has prompted water related diseases. Hundreds of livestock drowned and houses crumbled.
