Cycling

On a nice sunny Autumn day what’s better than cycling around looking at all the colour changes in the trees!

Whether they want to bring a friend or just go as a family it's a great chance to do some exercise and let of some energy!

Nature Walks

Nature walks are not only fun but walking for an hour a day is great exercise for the whole family.

You can make the walk fun by playing ‘I Spy’ game. You can also teach them about the seasonal changes and why leaves are turning from green to orange/red.

Play Centre

If the weather isn't in your favour then there are plenty of indoor play centres so kids can still run around and have fun indoors.

If it’s your kids birthday then they also make for the perfect children's party venues!

Sport Clubs

If your kid is passionate about a sport such as football, dancing or even tennis then encourage them to join a team.

They will make lots of new friends and exercising every week will be great for their fitness.

Ice Skating

For those wet and windy day’s why not take your kids ice skating? It’s a fun way to exercise and it won’t be long till they’re faster than you!

Swimming

Kids love being about to splash about so for those wet days why not take them down to your local swimming pool and let them have a bit of a swim!

It’s great exercise and will leave them exhausted after a few hours.

Scavenger Hunt

Make a list of objects that you've hidden around the garden, or if it’s raining then in the house. Give your kids 20 minutes to find all the items on the list.

It's a fun game and can be played if they're on their own or with friends.

Remember that it's important you keep your kids healthy and active. Don't let them waste their childhood free time by inside playing on some video game, it time our kids had the exercise they need!
