I want to write about a man that made a great contribution to the nation of Israel.
You more than likely do not give him a lot of thought as you read your Bible, but
when you look at his complete family you begin to see that he raised children that
made a difference in their generation.
I am sure that almost all of us understand the role of a father, but our generation
does not seem to have wisdom or understanding as to the importance of a father
or the opportunities that the fathers role includes.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but
they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Ps 127:4-5
Children are like arrows in the hand of a mighty man. It takes strength to shootan arrow and skill to direct that arrow to the target. There are certain things that
a man must apply himself to if he is going to be successful with his wife and
children. First he must decide who his enemy is! Until he makes a choice as
to whether he will receive or reject Christ, he has not enlisted in the war. Oh, he
belongs to Satan from the time of birth to salvation, but he may tell himself that
he isnt ghting for Satan. In his mind he has not joined Satans soldiers, but
without the Holy Spirit he can only do works of the esh and anything done in the
esh cannot please God. Number one priority of man should be to deal with his
soul so he can settle eternity and his family can dene who their enemy is.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them! What is a full quiver? Is it
one, two, six, twelve, or more? Just how many children should a man have? Aquiver was a bag that a man would keep his arrows in. The size of the quiver
would be determined by whatever the man planned to accomplish. The Bible
doesnt tell man how many children he should father. My father and mother had
ve children. Gloria and I have had three and then added four foster children
(arrows that someone else laid down). If you cant have children there are plenty
that others have laid down that you could pick up and direct and teach to defeat
the enemy. Our assistant pastor has nine children and one of our missionaries
have eight children. All I know for sure is that when that quiver is full, that father
should be happy.

A MAN THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE
IN HIS GENERATION
How many happy fathers do you see today? When fathers and mothers are not
happy there is trouble in paradise! It means we have departed from Gods way
and are trying to do it our way. Gods way brings happiness! The father would
probably say, You just dont know my wife. No one could be happy with her!
His wife is saying, You just do not know my husband. No one could be happy
with him. The truth is, in the esh none of us are any good, but I tell you if just
one of you will start walking in the Spirit, instead of your esh, you will begin
to see happiness in that home. God intended fathers of children to be happy!
Americans thinking is upside down. Just think of the many ways that America
goes about to AVOID having children. Even as far as to kill the ones they con-
ceive! There is something wrong with Americas thinking, wouldnt you agree?
America decides to have children the same why they decide to buy a pet. Its a
social status, not a work of the Lord.
The command to man (male and female) was to multiply and replenish the earth! The goal of man should be to obey God and do all his works as unto the Lord.
Children should be used to do the work of the Lord and fathers and mothers are
commanded to prepare and direct them to do just that. A mother is to prepare that
child by the way she weans that child and a father is to direct that child by the way
he daily instructs his life by showing him or her (by example) how to defeat the
enemy. If a father is not defeating the enemy in his own life how can he expect
his children to defeat the enemy. They are learning either what to do or what not
to do by watching their fathers.
Now lets discuss the man in the Bible that was very successful at raising children
that could defeat the enemy. That man was Jesse. We know nothing about his
personal life except that he was known as an Old man at the time David cameinto the picture. Jesse had seven sons and two daughters.
All seven of Jesses sons were acceptable in the eyes of the people and could have
become king. They were all brought before Samuel and Samuel himself thought
surely the rstborn would have been king. But, God does the choosing accord-
ing to the heart and not the outward looks. Yet, all of Jesses sons were prepared
to serve. He had raised them in such a way that they were prepared for service
should the Lord call them. Were they perfect children? Oh no! They were pre-
pared children.
Jesses sons were, Eliab, Abinadab, Shimma, Nethaneel, Raddai, Ozem, David, and his two daughters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiahs sons were, Abishai,
Joab, Asaheel. Abigails son was Amasa. If you will study each one of these
people you will see the effect that Jesses life had on the kingdom of Israel.
The rst three sons of Jesse, Eliab, Abinadab and Shimma were mighty warriors
in Sauls army as well as in Davids army. We dont know much about Nethaneel,
Raddai or Ozem, but David of course was chosen to be king of Israel. Davids
seed was chosen to rule the kingdom forever and Jesus came through the line of
David. Do you think Jesse had any idea what God would do with his children
when he was working to raise them and direct them as arrows toward the enemy?
Not in his wildest thoughts could he imagine what God would do.
While David was ghting Goliath, his
brothers were ghting the rest of the
Philistines. Jesse had four sons in tha
war. Davids brothers were listed as
mighty men in Davids army also.
This is already a great honor for Jesse
to have sons so used of God, but that is
not all Jesse did. Jesse had two daugh
ters, whose sons were mighty men in
the kingdom. Jesse invested in both his
sons and his daughters lives. They al
had a zeal for their kingdom. Jesses
grandchildren were mighty men.
Davids brother Shimma had a son
named Jonathan that killed one of Goli-
aths brothers. Zeruiahs son, Abishai
saved Davids life in his old age by kill
ing the giant that thought he had killed
David. It was Abishai that went withDavid to nd Saul in the cave. Abisha
wanted to kill Saul but David wouldn
let him. Zeruiahs son, Joab, was Da
vids chief head of his army. He was
second in command to David. Joab
didnt handle things as righteously
as David did, but he was a brave and
mighty man. Zeruiahs son, Asaheel
was killed while pursuing the chief of
Israels army. It was said that he was
light of foot and he wasnt afraid to
pursue trouble. Abigails son, Amasa
was who Absalom chose to be chief
with him.
Jesse produced some powerful chil-
dren, daughters and grandchildren in-
cluded. What are you doing as a fa
ther? If the Lord came to your house
today and wanted to use one of your
children for his Kingdom, would they
have been prepared and directed to be
straight arrows?
We dont know the sorrows or troubles
Jesse met in order to raise these chil-
dren. We dont know what personality
clashes they had or what money prob-
lems they encountered, we just know
they were good at their work.
These are the last days, fathers, and we
need to have those arrows ready for the
Masters use. ----Jerry Brewster

Dear Brethren in Christ,I have been receiving Tid Bits of Wisdom for some time now. Thank you, it has been a
blessing. We appreciate and can relate to you both in many ways. We too have been serv-
ing the Lord over fty years in the pastorate going into churches that were ready to close
and helping to get them revived again. It was a challenging and rewarding work as you too
know with little pay. Our rewards have always been laid up in heaven. Our Heavenly Fa-
ther has blessed us so abundantly over the years providing our every need and showering
us beyond measure as we have trusted him for all things. He owns the cattle on a thousandhills and many is the time that he has sold a cow for us! God gave us a child after 17 years
of prayer, a beautiful daughter. She is married to a Naval Captain and they have served all
over the world in their witness for Christ. We have two precious granddaughters, 13 and 9
years old who too love Jesus. Right now they are living in Tampa. Our Alisa was in Bible
College at Pensacola Christian and upon visiting her we saw the need of a strong, Inde-
pendent Baptist Church in Navarre. The Lord laid it on our hearts to be a witness here.
We started with Bible classes in the school and eventually started Navarre Chapel and
Academy, Independent Baptist Church. We rented a building for awhile and were pray-
ing for something permanent. After Opal went through here, there was a small modular
building that had been damaged and was for sale. After inquiring about it and learning of
our endeavor it was given to us. Also some property was leased to us. It was moved and
xed up, a beautiful little chapel that has sounded forth the gospel all of these years. While
working on it we received a phone call from a stranger asking if we would like another
building. Out of curiosity we went to see it. As we pulled in the drive and looked around
we didnt see what it could be, thinking probably a shed. The man was standing there mo-
tioning to us. We asked what it was he wanted to give to us and he pointed to his 2,000 sq.
ft. ranch brick house. The oor had been damaged in the hurricane. He said, Its yours;
all you have to do is move it. I thought, This is truly ridiculous. My husband said, Ill
think about it and let you know. When we came to Florida we had a 23 ft. trailer we were
living in and my husband Bob worked in the trailer park to pay for our rent. I was hoping
that one day we could have a house. After sleeping and praying on the matter, the next
morning he got up and said, Honey, the Lord showed me how to move that house. Bob
has been a hard worker all of his life to provide for us. He is very talented in many things.
He has raised houses and done all kinds of hard labor.
God has given him many talents. So we began taking the house apart, brick by brick, piece
by piece. The people whose property we were leasing, told us if we could move the house
we could put it on their property. They were dear members of our church. Bob moved
it in sections on a at bed with an old truck that was given to him. It took 3 years to put
it all back together. A beautiful memorial to our wonderful Lord. It has housed us and
has been a haven for missionaries and all that have passed through the doors. He had to
clear the land which was all woods, put in the drives and sidewalks etc. And the beautiful
thing about it all is that we have never owed any man anything. We have ministered to a
lot of people that have come and gone, many have been military, with bases close by. We
are a small church, anywhere from 40 to 50 depending on the length of stay of military
families.
Bobs heart has always been for missions. We help support over 60 missionaries andworks. Also we support many nationals. We have seen many come to Christ all over the
world. We hear of some walking for miles to hear the Word in a little thatched roof build-
ing and we have thousands of cars that go by daily here without a notice. But praise the
Lord for the faithful few. Bob will be 79 June 5th, and still preaching with strength and
conviction and standing true to the Word of God, he has never wavered. We are still for
the OLD FASHIONED WAY. There is no other way, though it is trying to be put down on
every hand. We are keeping the banner waving. We will put you on our prayer list and if
you be so led we covet your prayers for us in Navarre, Florida. May our Heavenly Father
bless you abundantly and use you mightly in these last days.
In His Love, And Service - Pastor Bob and Marjorie Archer
At the close of a Sunday morning wor-
ship service the congregation was asked
to stand and sing the closing invitational
hymn. The pastor (my husband) was
prayerfully leading Throw Out the
Lifeline as I popped a Life Saver candyinto my mouth. I was singing for all I
was worth. When we got to the chorus,
Throw out the lifeline, I accidentally
swallowed the Life Saver which stuck
in my throat. With a loud involuntary
hack, the candy ew out of my mouth
and shot across the pews. It didnt take
too much imagination for those who wit-
nessed this unintentional demonstration
to see a line attached to the Life Saver!

HOW TO LOVE THAT MAN!
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false
accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love
their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that
the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5
Well, I am that aged woman now. I remember when I was in my early 40s, hold-
ing hands and praying with a young woman, and her saying, You are my answer
to prayer. I asked the Lord to send me an OLDER woman and here you are.
After getting over the shock of being an older woman, I regained my composure
and got back to business. I am 68 yrs. of age now and am no longer shocked at
that term. I have earned these gray hairs and I have much to share with you that
the Lord has taught me as I have had to learn to love my husband.
I remember thinking years ago, why would the Lord say we had to learn to love?
Wasnt it love that caused you to marry him? It was a form of love, yes, but the
love that the Lord is talking about here is a lifetime love that will take you all
the way through your vows. We have to learn to love like God loves us. Now that
is REAL LOVE!
We have a created calling in life, and that calling is to be an HELP MEET. We
are to help meet the needs of mankind. We have the highest calling and that call-
ing is to serve. When they asked Jesus who was the greatest in heaven, He said the
servant was the greatest. Earth may not give us the honor we deserve, but heaven
will. Heaven knows our importance.
I am going to ask you some hard questions now. Is your home a better place be-
cause of you? Is your husband a better person since he took you for his wife? Areyour children better because they have you for a mother? Are your friends better
off for knowing and running with you? In other words, do you make a difference
in the lives of those you serve? Do you better them or do evil (destruction) to
their lives? We were created to help, not hurt. Anyone can hurt, but where are
the helpers?
The most important work that you do for the Lord will be the work you do for your
husband. When his life is better, then your life is better. What goes around comes
around. Here are some of the things that you can do to love that man.
We are told to reverence our husbands. To reverence is to stand in awe of, or
fear of. That doesnt mean that we are
scared of them, but that in fear of the
Lord we honor their position, knowing
that the Lord requires it of us and will
judge us for how we serve them.
Not only do we reverence them because
of the fear of the Lord, but also to help
our husbands understand their value to
the family. If your husband does nohave a good understanding of his im-
portance to the family, he will not fulll
his role with respect. If we treat him as
if he is a nobody, then more than likely
he will act like a nobody and will not
respond to our needs.
I asked someone the other day, What
if your husband was a Muslim? Would
God still expect you to treat him with
reverence? I have thought a lot about
that since I asked that question. Thefact is some women are married to cru-
el men. Does that excuse them from
showing reverence to their position?
Muslim law has no respect for women
and they treat them as some animal
but does that change who that woman
should be? God tells us to love our hus-
bands and that does not mean only if he
is lovely. Our command does not de-
pend on who the man is, it depends on
who our God is and what our God has
commanded of us. We are to always
love mankind and we are to always
reverence our husbands position in the
home. If we are not doing this, we are
not being an HELP MEET, but we
are plucking our house down with our
hands. I, am very much opposed to this
Presidents reign, but I must not allow
myself to become disrespectful to his
position. I walked into a church last

David Joseph Cimino is Connie Ciminos son who lives in the Knoxville, TN area
with his wife Emily and their two sons, Josiah, and Devin. D.J. (as we all know
him) wrote this article on his blog while on a visit back home to TX after visit-
ing his dad's grave site. We thought it would be nice to include a remembrance
of Bro. David since he put much of his life into the Wonderful Word Publisher to
help his father and mother. After his fathers death, Bro. David and Mrs. Rose
continued the work. Now, after Bro. Davids death Mrs. Connie Cimino contin-
ues the work.
Eph 6:2 Honor thy father and mother; which is the rst commandment with prom-
ise.
To honor means to prize, that is, x a valuation upon; by implication to revere: -
honor, value. (taken from Strongs)
My father passed from this present world and into the presence of Jesus on July
25, 2001. Ever since he has been gone, and ever since my own son was born, I
have thought about how truly valuable my parents are to me. Being a man, I es-
pecially see the gift that God provided for me in my father. Below are just a few
ways in which my father was a gift to our family, and specically to me. This is
just a small attempt to honor him and his life.
Dad introduced me to the gospel. Dad had been saved by the Gospel, therefore,
he knew its worth. Because of this he spent his life making sure that it got into the
hands of sinners all over the world. Most thankfully for me, he made sure I knew
and understood the Gospel message that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again
for sinners, and that by the blood of Christ our sins have been propitiated and the
wrath of God towards us had been satised. I am so blessed to have been born
into such a family that knew and proclaimed the Gospel.
II Tim. 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in
Christ Jesus.
Dad loved his family. Dad never was the type of father that kept his distance fromthe family. He was always there and always available. Dads relationship with
mother was a good pattern for me to follow with my wife Emily. Dad was always
helping Mom out, whether it was making a quick run to the store, or washing the
dishes after supper. And knowing how Dad loved me when I was growing up pro-
vides me with an example of a loving and loyal father, something so many kids
today dont have. I want that for my sons, Josiah and Devin.
Dad taught me to trust in Gods provision. I will readily admit that I often fail in
trusting God for my needs as I should. This is a sinful thing, and it is a sin that I
am always seeking to mortify. But when I became a teenager and began to realize
the nancial hardships that popped up (and living off of a missionarys income
those times were often), I remembe
Dad always telling me The Lord wil
provide. And yes, He always did. I of
ten look back at Dads example and re
ceive strength from it to trust in God.
Dad taught me to put God rst. Many
people dont realize this, but my Da
had a full scholarship to play football a
the University of Tennessee. But feelin
the call of God upon his life, he turne
the scholarship down in order to attendTennessee Temple University as a Bibl
student. Clearly, that one decision ma
have impacted my life more than any
other decision Dad made in his earl
years of manhood. If he had rebelle
against God, there is no telling wha
would have become of his life. But b
the Lords enabling grace, Dad put Go
rst and went to Bible school instead o
doing what would have been, humanl
speaking, the smart choice. I cancount the number of times that story ha
replayed in my mind. I thank God fo
Dad putting the Lord rst. It is truly an
example to learn from.
Dad made mistakes, but he was man
enough to admit it and seek to mak
things right. Im glad I didnt have
father that thought he was perfect. See
ing this humility taught me the virtue o
admitting when you are wrong some
thing we all struggle with.
There is much more that I could sa
about my Dad but the bottom line is,
love him and I miss him. But most im
portantly, I thank God for him.

HOW TO LOVE THAT MAN!week and saw a picture of the President on the wall. I knew that church did not
believe the way our President does and my rst thought was, Why on earth do
they have his picture in the church? It seemed like the Holy Spirit said, Because
he is your president. I was reminded not to let the personality change the way I
treat the position. What about us? The throne is our husbands. Lets help him sit
there in dignity. Learn to let God rule your house through your husbands posi-tion, so your husband can feel the burden of the home on his shoulders (men get
stronger through pressure). God is God enough to work through that man. Relax,
believe and trust God.
Another way to love that man is to forgive him for not being perfect! I dont care
who you are married to, there are going to be things that you are going to have to
forgive him for. If he offends or hurts you, that act has to be forgiven for you to
be able to continue to love him. He may not feel he needs forgiveness (he may
not think he has done anything wrong), but you need to forgive in order to keep
pure love owing to his life. Now, do we forget it? We are like elephants. Lets
face it, we never forget, but when we remember, we are to attach new meaning to
it. Instead of remembering the hurt, we remember the help it brought in our liveswhen we learned how to forgive. I am better for every time I forgave anyone. I
can feel Gods pleasure on my life when I forgive, from a pure heart, the hurts of
others. Satan stopped reminding me of my past failures a long time ago, because
I started praising God for the things I learned because of them, instead of crying
over my stupidity.
I was taught at home that you did not go to bed mad. We were made to deal with
any hard feelings at the end of the day and make things right with God. After
Jerry and I had been married for awhile he did something that hurt me so bad that
I decided that I would not forgive him. I held on to my unforgiving spirit for three
days and I realized I was quickly becoming a bitter woman. I didnt like the way Ilooked or the way I felt and I didnt like the way I was responding to everyone. I
realized I had to forgive him or it was going to change my whole life and end with
my destruction. I called Jerry in and told him I was forgiving him; I couldnt take
it any longer. Unforgivingness destroys us and causes the Lord to not forgive us,
plus it stops our LOVE from touching the lives of our loved ones.
Mankind kills mankind! Why do we do this? Why do we go about killing the very
people that God has called us to love? Listen to the news before you go to bed
tonight and see just how many people killed those they were upset with. Oh, but
thats not us. We (Christians) know better than to take a gun or a knife to some-
one else. Thats right. We use the tongue as our weapon. If our husbands dont
do what we want them to do, the rst thing we do is withhold our blessings fromthem. We desire to hurt, not help, to reveal their wickedness, hoping they will be
known for their failures. Angry words stir up strife and only a person walking in
the Spirit will not be taken in by angry words. We are to overcome the angry
words and the wrong deeds that are spoken and done to us. Do not let others
change who we are in Christ. If your husband is doing things to wrong you and
you are responding wrong, then he will never have to deal with his wrong. But, if
you do not respond with wrong, but with love, then he must face himself and deal
with his problems. When we correct a person the rst thing they desire is to point
out our wrong. Make sure you walk a straight walk where no one can
accuse you of wrong doing.
Ok. Now that we have given our hus-
bands the honor due them and we have
forgiven them, what do we do next?
The rst two things are actions of love
and next is to serve them love. Now as touching things offered unto
idols, we know that we all have knowl-
edge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity
edieth. 1 Cor 8:1The word edieth means house builder
or constructor. In other words char-
ity builds and Proverbs says that every
wise woman buildeth her house but the
foolish plucketh it down with her hands
The opposite of charity is destruction
You will never build a good home with-
out pure love (charity). Take a close
look at these verses and ask yourself
Am I working through love?
1 Cor 13:1-8
Though I speak with the tongues of men
and of angels, and have not charity,
I am become as sounding brass, or a
tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all
knowledge; and though I have all faith,
so that I could remove mountains, and
have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods tofeed the poor, and though I give my
body to be burned, and have not char-
ity, it proteth me nothing.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind;
charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not
itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh
not her own, is not easily provoked, thin-
keth no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth inthe truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never faileth: but whether there
be prophecies, they shall fail; whether
there be tongues, they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge, it shall
vanish away.

GODS TOOL CHESTThe carpenters tools had a conference.
Bro. Hammer was acting as chairman,
but the group soon informed him that
he must leave, because he was too noisy
Bro. Hammer said, If I leave the car-
penter shop, Bro. Gimlet must go, too.
He is so insignicant that he makes very
little impression.
Little Bro. Gimlet rose and said, All
right, I will go, but if I go, Bro. Screw
must go, also. You have to turn him
around and around again and again
before you can get him to go anywhere.
If you wish, I will go, said Bro. Screw
but then Bro. Plane also must leave. Al
his work is on the surface - there is no
depth to him.
To this Bro. Plane replied, Well, Bro.
Rule will have to withdraw, too, for he
is always measuring folks as though hewere the only one who is right.
Bro. Rule then complained against Bro
Sandpaper, and said, What about him?
He is rougher than he ought to be. He is
always rubbing people the wrong way.
In the midst of the heated discussion,
the carpenter walked in. He had come
to perform his days work. He put on
his apron and went to the bench. He
employed the hammer, the gimlet, the
screw, the plane, the rule, the sandpa-
per, and all the other tools.
When the day,s work was over, the
carpenter had completed a pulpit from
which the gospel would be preached.
Bro. Hammer arose and said, Breth-
ren, I perceive that all of us are laborers
together with God.
Oh, how many of us Christians are just
like those tools, fussing at each other,
because the other fellow doesnt dothings just the way we think he should.
There was not an accusation against one
of those tools that was not absolutely
true; yet the carpenter used every one
of them. There was not a place where
he used anyone where any of the others
would have done at all. Oh, how carefu
we should be in nding fault with one of
Gods tools.
TID BITS OF WISDOM
MONTHLY REPORT
It is so good to be used of God to rescue the perishing. Im glad God gave us a
part in His Kingdom. When you see a life being made whole you are watching
a miracle of God being performed. Watching always takes me back to the time
Christ came into my life and set me free from sin.
We are having more opportunities to serve than we have resources to handle.
Tid Bits took Mrs. Barbara Davis to the border last month to give out her chil-
drens materials to pastors and to pass out tracts at the ee market in Browns-
ville Texas. Thousands of people go through that market and they actually ask
for tracts. Tid Bits has given to several missionaries needs this last year and
if you would like to be a part of this you can share by sending a special gift for
special needs. Our monthly supporters meet the need for ofce supplies and
mailing, but we can only do other things when we receive special one time gifts.
For the next few weeks we have a young man named Flecher Mulnix, from Bob
Jones University, sleeping in the ofce and doing his internship with Glenn Beck.
He is studying journalism. It is nice to be a part of his training by making roomin our ofce. He loves the Lord and is very pleasant to be around.
Bro. and Mrs. Gibson were here Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. They are
the distributors of Wonderful Words tracks in the valley. It was good to visit and
share memories of our times with Bro. Roloff. Anyone who spent time around
Bro. Roloff always have interesting stories to share.
Page 3 is a letter from one of our readers. I do so appreciate them sharing their
lives with us and I feel like I know them. There does seem to be a kindred spirit
here. We may not be able to print everything we receive, but we would love to
hear from you and know a little bit about your lives. We will print articles as the
Lord gives us liberty. It was sweet of them to share the funny happening of her
life with us. If God has blessed you and worked in your life, share it with us.
Your story may be the encouragement that someone needs.
Many have asked about our health. God has been giving us strength for the work
He has given us to do and our health issues have not been a priority. My heart has
dropped eight times in the last three months but has recovered before the debril-
lator had to kick in. Gloria has an aneurism that is 3.9cm and will require open
heart surgery should it get to 4.5cm. We are praying it will not grow. It has to be
checked every six months. It has grown 1cm in the last year. We would appreci-
ate your prayers concerning this. Also, Mrs. Judy Connor will be having surgery
on her back the 13th of June and they would appreciate your prayers for her. Wepray God will richly bless you who share with this ministry
Remember, if you would like to honor someone who has passed away, with a
love gift to the paper, we will print their names in the next months paper. All
gifts can be sent to Tid Bits of Wisdom, 1801 Old Hickory Trail, DeSoto,
Texas, 75115, phone 214-293-5252. Our web address is on the back page. All
gifts are tax deductible. This paper is paid for by faith through Gods people.
We are Jerry and Gloria Brewster, born again servants of the Lord Jesus Christ,
making ourselves available to Gods service.

Faith Of Our Fathers
Jude 3
Faith of our fathers, living still,
In spite of dungeon, re and sword;
O how our hearts beat high with joy
Whenever we hear that glorious Word!
Refrain
Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.
Faith of our fathers, we will strive
To win all nations unto Thee;
And through the truth that comes from God,
We all shall then be truly free.
Refrain
Faith of our fathers, we will love
Both friend and foe in all our strife;
And preach Thee, too, as love knows how
By kindly words and virtuous life.
Prov 17:6
Children's chil-
dren are the crown
of old men; and the
glory of childrenare their fathers.
