Serving Our Savior Meets at the
Church building Sunday nights at
5:00pm
Welcome Home !! We are so grateful and thankful to God that our NW Tampa Hondu-
ras mission team is back with us safe and sound this morning.
To each of you who went on the mission, we are so thankful for you
and the sacrifices you made to be able to attend this year's trip. We
are very proud of all the things you did during the past two weeks to
carry the mission and vision of NW Tampa Church of Christ ("preach
the gospel to every creature and to love your neighbor as yourself.")
to the Honduran people.
We know that with every nail you hammered, every song you sang,
every kind word spoken and deed done, you showed the love of
Christ to those sweet people.
Isn't it great to be part of a church family where WE ALL (whether
we made the trip or not) are able to contribute, share and partner in
this wonderful work in Honduras.
May God continue to be magnified and glorified in the hearts of the
Honduran people in the days, weeks and months to come, because
of the efforts made on this trip!
God is Good....All the Time!

VBS! Volunteers Needed
Our theme is ADVENTURELAND and we will be exploring some Awesome
Adventures found in the Bible!
Class Teachers: You will teach the same lesson to four groups on ei-
ther SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY. To clarify, the lesson
you teach will be taught to four different age groups on the same day.
Once you do your four lessons your class is done for this year's VBS. This is
a change from years past where you taught one class each night. If you are
interested in teaching, here are the four lessons, and the days you can
chose from:
The Walls of Jericho (Joshua 6) SUNDAY (TAKEN)
David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17) MONDAY (TAKEN)
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego (Daniel 3) TUESDAY (TAKEN)
Lazarus Raised from the Dead (John 11) WEDNESDAY (Tie in to Christ's
Resurrection)
We also need Volunteers to be “Team Leaders.” You'll stay with the same group of kids all night each night of VBS to escort them through rotations, take them to the bathroom and help get them settled in. We will need 3 people to help with Security on each night. We will need 2 people to help with registration each night. We also need volunteers for the Nursery, Toddlers and Pre-K (4-5). These groups will stay in one spot.
If you are interested in helping, please email Matt at

2014 Missionaries to Honduras Below are our missionaries who brought God’s love, teachings,
and eternal plan to Honduras. Prayers of the body were heard and
answered by our Lord. They have committed their hearts, minds,
and strength to serve Him in Honduras.
We are so proud of each and every one of you,
year after year for all that you do!!
Faith at Home
Seek to be servant-hearted. Take pleasure in serving
each other. “By love serve one another” (Gal. 5:13).
Be filled with joy. “It is His joy that remains in us that makes our joy
full” ~ A.B. Simpson Be a wise person. Open your mouth with wis-
dom. (Prov. 31:25a).
Tutoring Program Sign-Up...The second week of September our tu-
toring program will resume. Volunteers and a person to coordinate
the program are needed who can commit to the entire school year
one evening per week or serve as alternates. Please let the office
