Gensler, which topped Crain’s most recent list of New York’s largest architecture-rms, designed its o6ce to match its standing in the city. The New York outpostof the San Francisco–based company is across from the Ed Sullivan Theaterand echoes the showtime theme. The focal point is a 20-foot Broadwaymarquee–style sign in the well of a 5-story wood staircase, around whichnumerous conference rooms and common areas are arrayed. And because the-rm specializes in interior design, Gensler houses a design center withhundreds of samples and reference materials.

Above all else, one thing might stick out in a visit to the New York o6ces of thisGlobal 100 law -rm: the unbelievable views from more than 20 stories up in its11-month-old Midtown o6ce. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a 360-degree viewof the cityscape, and glass walls allow sunlight to permeate the Perkins & Will–planned digs. The company also has used its space to break down traditionalhierarchal barriers. Corner o6ces have been eschewed in favor of meetingrooms out-tted with standing desks, and collaboration rooms are scatteredthroughout to encourage lawyers across disciplines to brainstorm.

It seems to me that the interior and the atmosphere of the office has now become almost art. Everything looks very magical. In the company I work in, Luxury CleaningNYC, the search for beautiful and magical offices has become almost a "hunt." Thanks△ ▽
