Acquired by the Rangers in a trade with the Washington Capitals on February 9,
2018, John Albert split the 2017-18 campaign with the Hartford Wolf Pack and the
Hershey Bears of the AHL. A former sixth round draft choice of the Atlanta Thrash-
ers in 2007, Albert has spent the majority of his pro career in the AHL. He saw
action in nine NHL games for the Winnipeg Jets in the 2013-14 season.
