4th Class Primary School
Stigliano
The activity was conducted in a market near our school.
The pupils were very excited before starting the survey.
Maria Luisa’s mother helped us to find foreign foods.
They worked hardly for a long time…
… but, unfortunately, they didn’t found any foods from Cyprus, Estonia,
Poland or Romania.
They found only olives from Greece!
They tought that it was depended from the mini-market first, but, after other
surveys conducted with their parents, they understood that it’s
difficult to find products from those countries because our village is too
small to have in its shops varieties of foreign products.
Children and teachers enjoyed the task, even if they didn’t find what
they needed.
This activity helped them to pay more attention for reading food labels.
